本開示は、超音波プローブおよび曲がり検出回路を有する、超音波器具を提供する。この曲がり検出回路は、二次電源を備え、この二次電源は、超音波プローブ、管、ならびに視覚的アラームおよび/または聴覚的アラームに電流を供給する。この視覚的アラームおよび/または聴覚的アラームは、超音波プローブが過度に応力を受けると、外科医に知らせる。この知らせは、プローブにおける過度の応力を判断するために位置付けられた管にこのプローブが接触し、これによって検出回路が閉じる場合に起こる。
