Claims (3)
- TFT基板と、対向基板と、前記TFT基板と前記対向基板との間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記対向基板には、第1のカラーフィルタによって第1の色を表示する第1の画素と、第2のカラーフィルタによって第2の色を表示する第2の画素と、第3のカラーフィルタによって第3の色を表示する第3の画素とがマトリクス状に形成され、
前記対向基板には、前記TFT基板との間隔を規定する第1のスペーサと、前記第1のスペーサよりも高さが低い第2のスペーサが形成され、
前記第1のスペーサは3層のカラーフィルタを積層することによって形成され、最上層のカラーフィルタの面積が最も小さく、
前記第2のスペーサは、3層のカラーフィルタの積層によって形成され、最下層のカラーフィルタの面積が最も小さいことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記第2のスペーサの中間の層のカラーフィルタの面積は、前記最下層のカラーフィルタの面積よりも大きく、前記最上層のカラーフィルタの面積よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1のスペーサは、縦方向に配列した前記第1の画素の間に形成され、前記第2のスペーサは、縦方向に配列した前記第2の画素の間に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
