Claims (9)
- 光入射面から情報記録層までの距離が100μm未満となる光記録媒体に対して、対物レンズを介してレーザー光を照射し、PRML識別方式によって前記情報記録層の情報を再生する光再生方法であって、
前記レーザー光の波長をλ、対物レンズの開口数をNA、記録時の前記光記録媒体の線速をLV、記録時のチャネルビット周波数をfとした場合に、
前記PRML識別方式の拘束長nが、
0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)−1<n<0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)+1を満たす整数に設定され、
前記情報記録層に記録されている最短マークの物理長をd min とした際に、d min <1.1×(λ/4)/NAに設定されることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1において、前記拘束長nが、
0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)<n<0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)+1
を満たす整数に設定されることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記レーザー光の波長をλ、前記対物レンズの開口数をNA、記録時の前記光記録媒体の線速をLV、記録時のチャネルビット周波数をfとした場合に、(λ/NA)/(LV/f)>6 を満たすことを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項3において、
前記レーザー光の波長をλ、前記対物レンズの開口数をNA、記録時の前記光記録媒体の線速をLV、記録時のチャネルビット周波数をfとした場合に、(λ/NA)/(LV/f)>7 を満たすことを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかにおいて、
前記光入射面から前記情報記録層までの距離が80μm以下であることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項5において、
前記光入射面から前記情報記録層までの距離が75μm以下であることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれかにおいて、
前記光記録媒体は、前記情報記録層を複数備えることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 光入射面から情報記録層までの距離が100μm未満となる光記録媒体に対して、対物レンズを介してレーザー光を照射し、PRML識別方式によって前記情報記録層の情報を再生する光再生方法であって、
前記レーザー光の波長をλ、対物レンズの開口数をNA、記録時のチャネルビットの長さをWとした場合に、
前記PRML識別方式の拘束長nが、
0.5×(λ/NA)/W−1<n<0.5×(λ/NA)/W+1を満たす整数に設定され、
前記情報記録層に記録されている最短マークの物理長をd min とした際に、d min <1.1×(λ/4)/NAに設定されることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 光入射面から情報記録層までの距離が100μm未満となる光記録媒体を回転させる回転駆動装置と、
レーザー光を発生するレーザー光源と、
前記レーザー光を集光して前記光情報記録媒体に照射する対物レンズと、
前記レーザー光の反射光を受光して電子信号に変換する光電変換装置と、
前記電気信号に基づいてPRML識別方式によって信号を再生するPRML処理装置と、を備え、
前記レーザー光の波長をλ、前記対物レンズの開口数をNA、記録時の前記光記録媒体の線速をLV、記録時のチャネルビット周波数をfとした場合に、前記PRML処理装置の拘束長nが、
0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)−1<n<0.5×(λ/NA)/(LV/f)+1を満たす整数に設定され、
前記情報記録層に記録されている最短マークの物理長をd min とした際に、d min <1.1×(λ/4)/NAに設定されていることを特徴とする光再生システム。
