Description
電池ECU20は、上記の通り、所望の加熱熱量で二次電池30を加熱するように加熱装置36に加熱指令を出力する。具体的には、電池ECU20は、温度センサ34からの電池温度T1〜Tmを入力し、二次電池30が所望の充放電能力を発揮するために必要な基準下限温度より低い場合に、予め定められた加熱熱量での加熱指令を出力する。
Claims (14)
- 電池モジュールを複数組み合わせて構成される二次電池の温度制御装置であって、
加熱部と、
前記二次電池の温度を検出する温度測定部と、
前記二次電池の開回路電圧を検出する電圧測定部と、
前記温度測定部で検出された温度が下限温度より低い場合に前記加熱部を動作させるとともに、前記加熱部による加熱後の前記電圧測定部で検出された開回路電圧の前記二次電池内のバラツキが許容値を超える場合に前記バラツキを抑制する均一化処理を行う制御部と、
を有することを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記制御部は、前記開回路電圧の前記二次電池内のバラツキが前記許容値内の場合であり、前記温度の前記二次電池内のバラツキが許容値を超える場合に、前記均一化処理を行うことを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 車両に搭載される二次電池の温度制御装置であって、
電池モジュールを複数組み合わせて構成される二次電池を車両外部の電源からの電力により加熱する加熱部と、
前記二次電池の温度を検出する温度測定部と、
前記二次電池の開回路電圧を検出する電圧測定部と、
車両の起動指示を受けた時に前記温度測定部で検出された温度が、前記二次電池が所望の充放電特性を示す下限温度より低い場合に起動処理を保留して前記加熱部を動作させて前記二次電池を加熱し、前記温度測定部で検出された温度の前記二次電池内のバラツキと前記電圧測定部で検出された開回路電圧の前記二次電池内のバラツキの少なくともいずれかが許容値内でない場合に、起動処理の保留を維持しつつ前記バラツキを抑制する均一化処理を行い、前記温度測定部で検出された温度の前記二次電池内のバラツキと前記電圧測定部で検出された開回路電圧の前記二次電池内のバラツキがともに許容値内の場合であって前記温度検出部で検出された温度が前記下限温度以上の場合に、前記加熱部の加熱処理を停止して前記起動処理を許可する制御部と、
を有することを特徴とする車両に搭載される二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記均一化処理は、前記加熱部による加熱熱量を減少させる処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記均一化処理は、前記加熱部による加熱を停止させる処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記均一化処理は、ファンを駆動させて強制対流させる処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記均一化処理は、所定時間内において前記バラツキが前記許容値以下となるまで繰り返し実行されることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御装置。 - 請求項1記載の温度制御装置を備える車両用電池パック。
- 請求項8記載の車両用電池パックにおいて、
前記制御部は、車両起動時における前記二次電池の温度が前記下限温度より低い場合に、前記下限温度以上となるまで前記加熱部を動作させることを特徴とする車両用電池パック。 - 電池モジュールを複数組み合わせて構成される二次電池の温度を制御するプログラムであって、前記プログラムはコンピュータにインストールされ、前記コンピュータに対して、
温度測定部から出力された前記二次電池の温度、及び電圧測定部から出力された前記二次電池の開回路電圧を入力させ、
メモリに記憶された所定の下限温度と前記温度とを大小比較させ、
前記温度が前記下限温度より低いと判定された場合に加熱部に対して加熱指令を出力させ、
前記加熱部による加熱後の前記電圧測定部で検出された開回路電圧の前記二次電池内のバラツキを演算装置に演算させ、
前記メモリに記憶された所定の許容しきい値と前記開回路電圧のバラツキとを大小比較させ、
前記開回路電圧のバラツキが前記所定の許容しきい値を超えたと判定された場合に前記バラツキを抑制する所定の均一化処理を実行させる
ことを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御プログラム。 - 請求項10記載のプログラムにおいて、
前記均一化処理は、前記加熱部による加熱熱量を減少させるように前記加熱部に対して指令する処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御プログラム。 - 請求項10記載のプログラムにおいて、
前記均一化処理は、前記加熱部による加熱を停止させるように前記加熱部に対して指令する処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御プログラム。 - 請求項10乃至12のいずれかに記載の温度制御プログラムにおいて、
前記均一化処理は、ファンを駆動させるように指令する処理であることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御プログラム。 - 請求項10乃至13のいずれかに記載の温度制御プログラムにおいて、
前記プログラムは、前記コンピュータに対して、前記均一化処理を、所定時間内において前記バラツキが前記許容しきい値以下となるまで繰り返し実行させることを特徴とする二次電池の温度制御プログラム。
