Description
以下の非限定的な実施例において報告する様々な特性および性状は以下の試験方法を用いて測定したものである。ASTMは、米国材料試験協会(American Society of Testing Materials)を指す。ISOは、国際標準化機構(International Standards Organization)を指す。TAPPIは、紙パルプ技術協会(Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industry)を指す。
ウェブの坪量は、ASTM D−3776(参照によって本明細書に援用する)に従って測定し、g/m2で報告した。
ナノウェブの熱安定性を試験するために、国際公開第03/080905号パンフレットの方法を用いて、ポリアミドPA6/6(Zytel 3218、DuPont(Wilmington,DE))ナノ繊維から紡糸された坪量が15グラム毎平方メートル(gsm)のナノウェブを製造した。繊維径の平均値は約400nmであった。見本試料(hand sample)(20cm×25cm)を140℃の強制循環式オーブン内に吊り下げた。試料を毎日取り出して色および収縮を調査し、引張強さおよび伸びを試験した。試料および使用した酸化防止剤の量ならびに140℃で21日間エージングした後の色を表1にまとめた。使用した酸化防止剤はN,N’−ヘキサメチレンビス(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナムアミド(Irganox 1098、(Ciba(Tarrytown,NY))または臭化銅(PolyAD 1932(供給業者))である。
坪量が約10gsmの5種類の異なるナノウェブ(それぞれ、Irganox 1098を0.75%、1%、2%含むもの、PolyAd 1932を0.2%含むもの、および酸化防止剤を含まないもの)を製造した。平均径は約400nmであった。このナノウェブを、坪量が14oz/yd2のポリエステルフェルトの試料に、以下に示す接着積層によって結合させた。
次に、本発明の好ましい態様を示す。
1 フィルターバッグを被せた支持構造を備えるバグフィルターであって、前記フィルターバッグの生地が、少なくとも1つの基材層と、それと対面する関係で結合された坪量が約0.1gsmを超える第1ナノウェブ層との複合体を含み、前記ナノウェブが、有効量の酸化防止剤が添加されたポリアミドナノ繊維を含むバグフィルター。
2 前記酸化防止剤が、ヒンダードフェノール、ハロゲン化銅、フェノール性アミド、フェノール性エステル、銅の有機塩、ヨウ化カリウムおよびステアラートの混合物、酢酸銅および臭化カリウムの混合物、ヒンダードアミン、高分子ヒンダードフェノール、ヒンダード型ホスファイト、ならびにこれらの組合せまたはブレンドからなる群から選択される上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
3 前記酸化防止剤がヒンダードフェノールである上記2に記載のバグフィルター。
4 前記ヒンダードフェノールがN,N’−ヘキサメチレンビス(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナムアミド)である上記3に記載のバグフィルター。
5 前記ナノウェブが、前記フィルターバッグの上流側に配置されている上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
6 前記フィルターをVDI 3926に付して30サイクルを経た後も、前記基材層およびナノウェブ層が結合したままである上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
7 前記基材層の前記第1ナノウェブ層が結合された面と反対側の面に結合された第2ナノウェブ層をさらに含む上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
8 前記第2ナノウェブ層に結合され、前記フィルターバッグの上流側に位置する第2基材層をさらに含む上記7に記載のバグフィルター。
9 少なくとも1つのナノウェブ層および少なくとも1つの基材層が、超音波接着、加熱結合、接着剤結合、ニードルパンチ、および水流交絡からなる群から選択される方法によって結合されている上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
10 前記基材層および前記ナノウェブ層が約40〜100穿孔/cm 2 でニードルパンチされており、前記ナノウェブ層の25%以下が穿孔される上記7に記載のバグフィルター。
11 各基材層が、ポリエステル繊維、炭素繊維、ポリイミド繊維、ガラス繊維、およびこれらの混合物から選択される繊維を独立して含む上記1に記載のバグフィルター。
12 フィルターバッグを被せた支持構造を備えるバグフィルターであって、前記フィルターバッグの生地が、坪量が約0.1gsmを超えるナノウェブ層と対面する関係で結合された第1基材層と、前記ナノウェブ層に結合された第2基材層との複合体を含み、前記ナノウェブが、前記フィルターバッグの上流側に位置し、前記ナノウェブが、有効量の酸化防止剤が添加されたポリアミドナノ繊維を含むバグフィルター。
13 前記第2基材層が前記ナノウェブと前記第1基材層との間に位置する上記12に記載のバグフィルター。
14 前記ナノウェブ層が前記第1基材層と前記第2基材層との間に位置する上記12に記載のバグフィルター。
15 前記フィルターをVDI 3926に付して30サイクルを経た後も、前記基材層およびナノウェブ層が結合したままである上記12に記載のバグフィルター。
Claims (2)
- フィルターバッグを被せた支持構造を備えるバグフィルターであって、
前記フィルターバッグの生地が、少なくとも1つの基材層と、それと対面する関係で結合された坪量が0.1gsmを超える第1ナノウェブ層との複合体を含み、
前記ナノウェブが、ヒンダードフェノールが添加されたポリアミドナノ繊維を含み、
ヒンダードフェノールの濃度がポリアミドナノ繊維に対し0.01〜10重量%である、バグフィルター。 - フィルターバッグを被せた支持構造を備えるバグフィルターであって、
前記フィルターバッグの生地が、坪量が0.1gsmを超えるナノウェブ層と対面する関係で結合された第1基材層と、前記ナノウェブ層に結合された第2基材層との複合体を含み、
前記ナノウェブが、前記フィルターバッグの上流側に位置し、
前記ナノウェブが、ヒンダードフェノールが添加されたポリアミドナノ繊維を含み、
ヒンダードフェノールの濃度がポリアミドナノ繊維に対し0.01〜10重量%である、バグフィルター。
