[C1]基地局と通信するために無線端末を動作する方法であって、前記無線端末が、ドウェル境界切り換えモジュールを含む単一送信機信号処理チェーンを含み、前記ドウェル境界切り換えモジュールが前記単一送信機チェーンを複数のアンテナ素子につなげ、前記ドウェル境界切り換えモジュールが、ドウェル境界間ではなくドウェル境界上で切り換え、前記複数のアンテナ素子が少なくとも第1アンテナ素子及び第2アンテナ素子を含み、これらの各々を独立して用いることができ、前記方法が、

- アンテナ素子間の間隔が、前記アンテナ素子から送信される最も低い周波数トーンの波長の少なくとも1/4である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記送信機送信信号がCDMA信号である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 基地局を含む通信システムで用いる無線端末であって、前記無線端末が、
単一の送信機処理チェーンを複数のアンテナ素子につなげるチャネル推定境界切り換えモジュールを含む前記送信機処理チェーンであって、前記チャネル推定境界切り換えモジュールが、信号境界間ではなく、基地局チャネル推定信号境界に対応する信号境界上で切り換え、基地局チャネル推定切り換え境界は、前記基地局がチャネル推定間隔の間で移行する信号点であり、あるチャネル推定間隔内で基地局により実行されるチャネル推定が、直前のチャネル推定間隔内で実行されたチャネル推定から独立し、前記複数のアンテナ素子が少なくとも第1アンテナ素子及び第2アンテナ素子を含み、これらの各々を独立して用いることができる単一の送信機処理チェーンと、
第1期間中に生じる少なくともいくつかのチャネル推定境界で前記第1及び第2アンテナ素子間を切り換えるため、前記第1期間中、前記チャネル推定境界切り換えモジュールを制御し、これにより、前記単一送信機信号処理チェーンから信号を送信するのに用いられているアンテナ素子を変更する手段と
