Description
Claims (6)
- MCM−41を含む触媒担体上の、白金とパラジウム金属の組み合わせを含む貴金属水酸化テトラアミン錯体を単一工程で分解および活性化する方法であって、
前記貴金属水酸化テトラアミン錯体を分解および還元するために水素中でか焼する工程を含み、
該単一工程法によって得られる触媒担体上の分解および還元された貴金属水酸化テトラアミン錯体の酸素化学吸着は、空気中でか焼する工程と水素の存在下に還元する工程とからなる2工程法によって得られる同一の触媒担体上の分解および還元された同一の貴金属硝酸テトラアミン錯体の酸素化学吸着と同等である、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記触媒担体を、活性化の前に空気中で乾燥することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記乾燥を300°F(148.9℃)未満の温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒担体が、非晶質のメソポーラス担体またはゼオライト担体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水素の濃度が1〜100%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水素の濃度が4〜100%であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
