Description
特徴部を示す領域におけるベクトルの観察(observe)回数/全ベクトル観察回数
a)サイズ:一般的に直径で少なくとも20μm(通常の白血球は10〜15μm)。
b)核サイズ:大きく通常丸い(通常の核はより小さく、及び/又は形状が不規則)。
c)核形態学:通常一若しくは複数の核小体が存在する(細胞核内の小さいダークブルー色の領域)。
d)核着色:通常の白血球と比して通常明るく(ヘマトキシリンより明るくない)着色されている。
e)細胞質着色:通常の白血球と比して、あるいは青く(好塩基性よりも青く)着色されている。
f)核と細胞質との比:おおきな細胞核を示す通常の白血球に比べて通常高い。

Claims (20)
- コンピュータにて実行されるデジタル画像におけるパターンの認識方法であって、
属性の特徴部を示す画像領域を受け付ける工程と、
上記画像領域を複数のベクトルにエンコードする工程と、
上記複数のベクトルをデータベースに格納する工程と、
上記複数のベクトルそれぞれと上記特徴部との相関値を算出する工程と、
上記特徴部に関連付けられるベクトルセットを生成し、格納する工程であって、上記ベクトルセットは、上記複数のベクトルそれぞれに対して、上記ベクトルの識別子及び上記ベクトルに対して算出された上記相関値を含む、工程と、
を備えるトレーニング段階と、
画像の候補領域を特定する工程であって、上記候補領域は複数の候補領域ベクトルを備える、工程と、
各候補領域ベクトルと上記特徴部との相関値を算出する工程と、
上記候補領域が上記特徴部を示す確率を算出するために、上記候補領域ベクトルに対する上記相関値を平均化する工程と、
を備えるパターン認識段階と、
を備える、コンピュータにて実行されるデジタル画像におけるパターンの認識方法。 - 上記複数のベクトルそれぞれと上記特徴部との相関値を算出する工程は、上記画像領域にて上記ベクトルが観察される回数を全体で上記ベクトルが観察される回数で割る工程を備える、請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画像の候補領域は、全画像を含む請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画像の候補領域は、全画像の一部を含む請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画像の候補領域は、顕微鏡スライドサンプルの一部を含む請求項4記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記相関値が高平均であることは、上記画像の上記候補領域における画像パターンと上記画像特徴部との間での照合確率が高いことを示す請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記相関値が低平均であることは、上記画像の上記候補領域における画像パターンと上記画像特徴部との間での照合確率が低いことを示す請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 複数のベクトルセットを生成し、格納する工程であって、上記複数のベクトルセットそれぞれは、複数の特徴部に関連付けられ、上記複数の特徴部それぞれは、複数の属性の一つである、工程を更に備える請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 各候補領域ベクトルと複数の特徴部それぞれとの相関値を算出する工程と、
複数の特徴部それぞれのために上記相関値を平均化する工程とを更に備える請求項8記載のパターン認識方法。 - 上記候補領域により示される特徴部として、最高平均の相関関係を有する上記複数の特徴部の一つを特定する工程を更に備える請求項9記載のパターン認識方法。
- 複数の画像ベクトルを含むボキャブラリーを有するデータ格納領域であって、各画像ベクトルは、デジタル画像の小区分における複数の画素のために画素の強度を表す複数の値を含む、データ格納領域と、
複数のベクトルセットを有するデータ格納領域であって、各ベクトルセットは、属性の特徴部に関連付けられ、各ベクトルセットは、上記複数の画像ベクトルのサブセットのそれぞれに対して、上記画像ベクトルの識別子及び上記画像ベクトルと上記特徴部との相関値を含む、データ格納領域と、
デジタル画像の候補領域内の各画像ベクトルを一又はそれ以上の複数のベクトルセットの特定された各画像ベクトルと相関し、特徴部がデジタル画像の候補領域内に存在する確率を決定するように構成される相関モジュールと、を備えるデジタル画像におけるパターン認識のためのシステム。 - 各候補領域を相関させる工程は、上記候補領域が、判定する前の誤差パラメータの対象となる上記ベクトルセットのベクトルと一致するか否かを判定する工程を更に備える請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記属性は、腫瘍細胞のクラスタである請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記属性は、組織の型である請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画像領域を複数のベクトルにエンコードする工程は、
上記画像領域を複数のカーネルに区分する工程と、
上記複数のカーネルそれぞれに対するベクトルを生成する工程であって、各ベクトルは、スカラのアレイを含む、工程と、を備える請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。 - 上記スカラのアレイは、画素強度値を含む請求項15記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画素強度値は、複数のカラーチャネルそれぞれに対する上記カーネルの全ての画素に対する強度値を含む請求項16記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記画像領域を複数のベクトルにエンコードする工程の前に、上記画像領域を第1のカラー空間から上記第1のカラー空間とは異なる第2のカラー空間に変換する工程をさらに備える請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記第1のカラー空間は、赤−緑−青であり、上記第2のカラー空間は、強度−赤−青である請求項18記載のパターン認識方法。
- 上記ベクトルの識別子は、上記データベースのインデックスである請求項1記載のパターン認識方法。
