Claims (1)
- 高圧の液冷媒を導入する入口ポートと、この入口ポートに連通する弁室と、この弁室内の上部に設けられた弁孔と、この弁孔で膨張した冷媒を外部に向けて導出する出口ポートと、前記弁孔の入口に設けられた弁座に接離して前記弁孔を開閉する弁部材と、この弁部材を支持するとともに上下に移動可能な支持部材と、前記弁室内における前記支持部材の下方に設けられ前記支持部材を前記弁孔に向けて付勢するコイルばねとを備えた膨張弁であって、
前記コイルばねにおける隣り合うコイル線間の隙間の大きさが、前記液冷媒中に含まれる気泡を微細化し得るように設定されており、前記入口ポートは、前記液冷媒を導入する大径通路部と、この大径通路部と前記弁室とを連通する小径通路部とを有するとともに、この小径通路部における前記弁室への開口が、前記支持部材よりも下方の位置において前記コイルばねに近接するように配置され、前記コイルばねの伸縮方向における前記隙間の大きさは、前記弁部材が前記弁座に当接した状態で0.54mm以下であり、
前記大径通路部から流入した冷媒が、前記小径通路部を経て前記弁室内のコイルばねを通過する際に冷媒中の前記隙間以上の径の気泡は前記隙間以下の径に微細化されることを特徴とする膨張弁。
