Claims (2)
- 第1記録層と第2記録層とを含む情報記録媒体であって、
前記第1記録層及び前記第2記録層には、データ領域に記録されるユーザデータの量により決定される第1連結領域及び第2連結領域がそれぞれ設けられ、
前記第1記録層には、前記第1連結領域の外周に第1未使用領域、第1バッファ領域及び第1専用領域が順次に配置され、
前記第2記録層には、前記第2連結領域の外周に第2専用領域、第2バッファ領域及び第2未使用領域が順次に配置され、
前記第1連結領域及び前記第2連結領域には所定パターンのデータが記録される
ことを特徴とする情報記録媒体。 - 第1記録層と第2記録層とを含む情報記録媒体からデータを再生する再生装置であって、
前記第1記録層及び前記第2記録層において、データ領域に記録されるユーザデータの量により決定される第1連結領域及び第2連結領域がそれぞれ設けられ、前記第1記録層には、前記第1連結領域の外周に第1未使用領域、第1バッファ領域及び第1専用領域が順次に配置され、前記第2記録層には、前記第2連結領域の外周に第2専用領域、第2バッファ領域及び第2未使用領域が順次に配置され、前記第1連結領域及び前記第2連結領域には所定パターンのデータが記録されるように、前記情報記録媒体に対してデータを伝達するピックアップと、
前記情報記録媒体から前記第1連結領域及び前記第2連結領域を検出し、前記検出された前記第1連結領域及び前記第2連結領域を用いて前記第1記録層と前記第2記録層の層との間の移動を行うように前記ピックアップを制御する制御部と
を備えることを特徴とする再生装置。
