ここで、タイミングコントローラTCの様々なデータマッピング方式について説明すると、下記の通りである。
Claims (1)
- 複数の画面変更信号が格納された記憶部と、
外部から供給される1水平ライン分の画像データを、k個の左側小画像データとk個の右側小画像データとに区分し、k個の左側小画像データを順次出力するとともに、k個の右側小画像データを順次出力するタイミングコントローラと、
前記タイミングコントローラからのk個の左側小画像データを順次受け取り、前記k個の左側小画像データを順次ラッチするk個の左側ラッチと、前記タイミングコントローラからのk個の右側小画像データを順次受け取り、前記k個の右側小画像データを順次ラッチするk個の右側ラッチを有するデータドライバと
を含み、
前記k個の左側及び右側小画像データのそれぞれは、第1赤色画像データ、第1緑色画像データ、第1青色画像データ、第1赤色/緑色/青色画像データ、第2赤色画像データ、第2緑色画像データ、第2青色画像データ及び第2赤色/緑色/青色画像データを含み、
前記第1赤色/緑色/青色画像データは、前記第1赤色画像データの最上位ビット、前記第1緑色画像データの最上位ビット及び前記第1青色画像データの最上位ビットを含み、
前記第2赤色/緑色/青色画像データは、前記第2赤色画像データの最上位ビット、前記第2緑色画像データの最上位ビット及び前記第2青色画像データの最上位ビットを含み、
前記タイミングコントローラは、前記記憶部から選択された一つの画面変更信号によって、前記左側小画像データ中の第2青色画像データを7番左側出力ピンの代わりに1番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第2緑色画像データを6番左側出力ピンの代わりに2番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第2赤色画像データを5番左側出力ピンの代わりに3番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第2赤色/緑色/青色画像データを8番左側出力ピンの代わりに4番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第1青色画像データを3番左側出力ピンの代わりに5番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第1緑色画像データを2番左側出力ピンの代わりに6番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第1赤色画像データを1番左側出力ピンの代わりに7番左側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記左側小画像データ中の第1赤色/緑色/青色画像データを4番左側出力ピンの代わりに8番左側出力ピンから出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第2青色画像データを7番右側出力ピンの代わりに1番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第2緑色画像データを6番右側出力ピンの代わりに2番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第2赤色画像データを5番右側出力ピンの代わりに3番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第2赤色/緑色/青色画像データを8番右側出力ピンの代わりに4番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第1青色画像データを3番右側出力ピンの代わりに5番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第1緑色画像データを2番右側出力ピンの代わりに6番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、前記右側小画像データ中の第1赤色画像データを1番右側出力ピンの代わりに7番右側出力ピンを通じて出力し、そして前記右側小画像データ中の第1赤色/緑色/青色画像データを4番右側出力ピンの代わりに8番右側出力ピンを通じて出力する
