Claims (10)
- 装置本体に対して往復移動可能なキャリアの駆動機構において、
前記キャリアに搭載された駆動部と、
前記駆動部により回転駆動可能な第1駆動伝達手段及び第2駆動伝達手段と、を備え、
前記キャリアの移動方向に順に第3駆動伝達手段、第5駆動伝達手段及び第4駆動伝達手段が配置され、
前記キャリアの移動範囲に、前記第1駆動伝達手段が前記第3駆動伝達手段と駆動伝達可能に係合する第1移動領域と、前記第2駆動伝達手段が前記第4駆動伝達手段と駆動伝達可能に係合する第2移動領域と、前記第1駆動伝達手段及び前記第2駆動伝達手段が前記第5駆動伝達手段と駆動伝達可能に係合する第3移動領域と、を設け、
前記第1移動領域では、前記第2駆動伝達手段が前記第3駆動伝達手段から分離しており、前記第2移動領域では、前記第1駆動伝達手段が前記第4駆動伝達手段から分離していることを特徴とするキャリアの駆動機構。 - 前記第1移動領域は前記キャリアを高精度で移動させる領域であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 前記第2移動領域は前記キャリアを停止させるホームポジションを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 前記第1駆動伝達手段及び前記第2駆動伝達手段はピニオンであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 前記第3駆動伝達手段及び前記第4駆動伝達手段はラックであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 前記第1駆動伝達手段のピニオンと前記第2駆動伝達手段のピニオンは、ピッチ円直径が同じであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 前記第1駆動伝達手段及び前記第3駆動伝達手段と、前記第2駆動伝達手段及び前記第4駆動伝達手段は、互いにモジュールが異なるインボリュート歯形を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のキャリアの駆動機構。
- 往復移動可能なキャリアに搭載した記録ヘッドにより記録媒体に画像を記録する記録装置において、前記キャリアは請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の駆動機構を用いて駆動されることを特徴とする記録装置。
- 前記記録ヘッドは画像情報に基づいてインクを吐出するインクジェット記録ヘッドであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の記録装置。
- 往復移動可能なキャリアに搭載した読取センサにより原稿の画像を読み取る読取装置において、前記キャリアは請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の駆動機構を用いて駆動されることを特徴とする読取装置。
