Claims (5)
- 被増幅光を出力する光源と、
励起部と、
前記励起部により励起状態とされた増幅媒体により、前記被増幅光を増幅する増幅器と、
前記光源と前記増幅器との間に配置され、前記増幅器から出力する光の強度をモニタするモニタ部と、
前記光源を制御する光源制御部と、
を備え、
前記光源制御部は、前記増幅器に前記被増幅光が入力されていない状態において、前記モニタ部に入力する前記光が所定の強度以上となった場合に、前記光源から前記被増幅光を強制的に出力させる
ことを特徴とするレーザ装置。 - 前記光源は、パルス状の被増幅光を一定の周期で出力し、
前記光源制御部は、前記モニタ部に入力する前記光が所定の強度以上となった場合に、前記被増幅光が出力する前記周期を短くすることで、前記光源から前記被増幅光を強制的に出力させる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ装置。 - 前記励起部を制御する励起制御部を更に備え、
前記励起制御部は、前記モニタ部に入力する前記光が所定の強度以上となった場合に、前記増幅媒体の励起状態が低くなるように前記励起部を制御する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のレーザ装置。 - 前記励起制御部は、前記モニタ部に入力する前記光が所定の強度以上となった場合に、前記励起部を停止状態とする
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザ装置。 - 前記励起部は、励起光を出力する励起光源であり、
前記増幅器は、前記被増幅光を伝播し、前記励起光源により励起状態とされる活性元素が添加される増幅用光ファイバである
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のレーザ装置。
