Description
いくつかの半円形の継ぎ目60が配置されており、継ぎ目60は、デフレクタ要素30だけでなく、おそらく強化層31にも影響を与えるものであり、半円形にしずく形継ぎ目62の頭部を囲むものであることから、非常に良いシーリングが実現できる。さらに、全ての層を貫通するしずく形継ぎ目62は、エアバッグスキンを貫通しない半円形の継ぎ目60によって、高温気体から保護される。さらに、この実施形態では、強化層31(図2のみ表示)が半円形の継ぎ目60の部分に配置されている。
ここで、特に有利場合として、追加布製エレメント50、デフレクタ要素30、及び、エアバッグスキン10が縫い合わせられる場合は、二つのしずく形継ぎ目62を用いるだけでよい。

Claims (15)
- 気体スペースを取り囲むエアバッグスキン(10)と、第一の端(11a)から第二の端(11b)まで伸びる第一のエッジ(11)とを具備するエアバッグであって、
気体発生器(20)の収容区域(A)が、前記第一のエッジの位置であって、前記気体スペースの外側に配置されて、前記第一のエッジ(11)と平行に伸びており、
前記第一のエッジ(11)は、前記気体発生器を収容するデフレクタ要素(30)のうちの領域(32)を具備しているエアバッグにおいて、
前記デフレクタ要素(30)は、チューブ状のフレキシブルな要素から成り、
前記デフレクタ要素(30)は、上方及び下方領域(32,36)を具備し、該下方領域(36)が前記気体スペース(G)の内側に位置しており、
前記デフレクタ要素は、前記上方及び下方領域の間にある中間領域(34)で、前記エアバッグスキンと結合されており、
前記中間領域(34)に形成された狭められた吐出開口(34a)から来た気体は、前記下方領域(36)の、前記チューブ状のフレキシブルな要素の長手軸方向に関する前方側面(36a)と後方側面(36b)に転向される
ことを特徴とするエアバッグ。 - 前記デフレクタ要素(30)がチューブを形成するように巻いて作られた布から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記デフレクタ要素(30)がシームレスに製造されたフレキシブルなチューブであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記チューブ状のフレキシブルな要素の長手軸が前記第一のエッジ(11)と基本的に平行であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記中間領域(34)が前記エアバッグスキン(10)と縫い合わせられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記中間領域(34)が固定クリップによって前記エアバッグスキン(10)に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記デフレクタ要素が、少なくとも上方領域でオーバーラップする布部分によって二重壁で形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記デフレクタ要素(10)が、上方領域(32)でのみ二重壁で形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記オーバーラップする布部分が接着剤で接着されることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載のエアバッグ。
- 継ぎ目が前記デフレクタ要素の前記中間領域に配置され、前記デフレクタ要素によって、上方領域と下方領域の間に狭められた吐出開口(34a)が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記継ぎ目が前記エアバッグスキンを貫通せず、前記デフレクタ要素を前記エアバッグスキンと結合する継ぎ目の少なくとも一部を囲んでいることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記デフレクタ要素の中間領域に少なくとも一つの固定クリップが配置され、それによって狭い吐出開口(34a)が上方領域と下方領域の間に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 二つの固定クリップが存在することを特徴とする請求項12に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記デフレクタ要素の上方領域が、追加布製領域(50)によって囲まれていることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
- 前記エアバッグはカーテンエアバッグであり、前記第一のエッジは上部のエッジであることを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグ。
