Description
(1)排気ガス中の酸素濃度を検知する酸素濃度センサと、酸素濃度の計測値に基づいて燃料のアルコール濃度を判定するする判定手段と、エンジンの運転状態ごとに燃料の基本噴射量を定めた基本噴射マップと、燃料の基本噴射量およびアルコール濃度の組み合わせごとにアルコール濃度係数を定めたアルコール濃度係数テーブルと、エンジンの運転状態に応じた基本噴射量を前記基本噴射マップから抽出する手段と、前記燃料のアルコール濃度および基本噴射量に応じたアルコール濃度係数を前記アルコール濃度係数テーブルから抽出する手段と、前記基本噴射量およびアルコール濃度係数に基づいて燃料噴射量を算出する手段とを含むことを特徴とする。
(2)アルコール濃度係数は、基本噴射量が少なくなるほど高くなることを特徴とする。
(3)アルコール濃度係数は、基本噴射量が所定の噴射量以上の範囲では略一定であることを特徴とする。
(1)請求項1の発明によれば、燃料の基本噴射マップをアルコール濃度ごとに設けることなく、唯一の基本噴射マップと、アルコール濃度ごとに設定できる基本噴射量をパラメータとしたアルコール濃度係数のみで、燃料のアルコール濃度に関わらず燃料噴射量を最適化できるようになる。したがって、エンジンの仕様変更等により燃料噴射量を見直す必要が生じた場合でも、基本噴射マップの見直し工数が大幅に減ぜられる。
(2)請求項2の発明によれば、エンジンの低回転域では基本噴射時間に対するスロットル開度−エンジン回転数の変動の割合が増加するものの、アルコール濃度係数の増加割合を大きくすることで安定した制御が可能になる。
(3)請求項3の発明によれば、エンジンの高回転域でも、制御を複雑化することなく空燃比を適正に制御できるようになる。
Claims (2)
- エンジンへのアルコール混合燃料の噴射量を、排気ガス中の酸素濃度に基づいて制御する多種燃料エンジンの燃料噴射制御装置において、
排気ガス中の酸素濃度を検知する酸素濃度センサと、
前記酸素濃度の計測値に基づいて燃料のアルコール濃度を判定する手段と、
エンジンの運転状態ごとに燃料の基本噴射量を定めた基本噴射マップと、
燃料の基本噴射量およびアルコール濃度の組み合わせごとにアルコール濃度係数を定めたアルコール濃度係数テーブルと、
エンジンの運転状態に応じた基本噴射量を前記基本噴射マップから抽出する手段と、
前記燃料のアルコール濃度および基本噴射量に応じたアルコール濃度係数を前記アルコール濃度係数テーブルから抽出する手段と、
前記基本噴射量およびアルコール濃度係数に基づいて燃料噴射量を算出する手段とを具備し、
前記アルコール濃度係数テーブルには、アルコール濃度が十分に低い第1レベル、アルコール濃度が高い第3レベルおよびアルコール濃度が十分に高い第4レベルの3つのレベルが設定され、
前記アルコール濃度係数は、前記第3および第4レベルでは基本噴射量が少なくなるほど高くなり、
前記アルコール濃度係数は、前記アルコール濃度係数テーブルにおいて前記アルコール濃度の判定結果近傍の2つのアルコール濃度係数からの補完処理または外挿処理によって算出されることを特徴とする多種燃料エンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記アルコール濃度係数は、基本噴射量が所定の噴射量以上の範囲では略一定であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多種燃料エンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。
