Claims (2)
- 原稿載置トレイに載置された原稿を原稿排出トレイまで搬送する原稿搬送装置であって、原稿搬送方向と交差する方向から原稿排出トレイに排出された原稿を取り出し可能な側を前面側とし、この前面側の反対側を背面側として、
背面側に設けられた、原稿搬送方向と平行をなす回転軸線を中心として、前面側を上下に変位させることにより、原稿読取装置に対して開閉可能であるとともに、本体と、この本体に、原稿読取装置のコンタクトガラスに対向して配置され、原稿読取装置に対する閉鎖状態でコンタクトガラスに当接して、搬送される原稿がコンタクトガラスに接触するように案内する読取ガイド部材とを備えた原稿搬送装置において、
前記読取ガイド部材は、前面側及び背面側の2箇所の支持部で、前記本体に支持されるとともに、原稿読取装置に対する開放状態で、その背面側支持部は、読取ガイド部材を、付勢部材により前記コンタクトガラスに向かって付勢しながら、コンタクトガラスに対して接近/離間する方向に変位可能にして支持し、前面側支持部は、背面側支持部より小さい範囲で、読取ガイド部材をコンタクトガラスに対して接近/離間する方向に変位可能にして支持し、原稿読取装置に対する閉鎖状態で、背面側支持部は読取ガイド部材がコンタクトガラスに当接し、前面側支持部は読取ガイド部材が本体及びコンタクトガラスに当接して、読取ガイド部材の、前面側の高さ方向の位置決めを行うことを特徴とする原稿搬送装置。 - 前記前面側支持部は、前記読取ガイド部材が前記本体に当接して、読取ガイド部材の前記コンタクトガラスから離間する方向への変位を阻止する当接部を有するとともに、本体と読取ガイド部材との間に、読取ガイド部材をコンタクトガラスに向かって付勢する弾性部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の原稿搬送装置。
