Description
(a)スケールに対して読取りヘッドを移動させるステップと、
(b)増分検出器からの出力を用いて、出力信号中の所定の位相を求めるステップと、
(c)スケール線検出器からの出力を用いて、ゼロ交差を求めるステップと、
(d)ゼロ交差の両側について、出力信号中の所定の位相に対応するスケール線検出器からの信号の値を求めるステップと、
(e)ステップ(d)で求められた値を用いてスケール線パルスの幅を定義するステップとを含む。
(a)増分検出器からの出力を用いて、出力信号中の所定の位相を求めるステップと、
(b)スケール線検出器からの出力を用いて、ゼロ交差を求めるステップと、
(c)ゼロ交差の両側に対して、増分検出器からの出力信号中の所定の位相に対応するスケール線検出器からの信号の値を求めるステップと、
(d)ステップ(c)で求められた値を用いてスケール線パルスの幅を定義するステップとを任意の適当な順に実行することができるロジックコントローラとを備える。
Claims (12)
- スケール測定装置を較正する方法であって、前記スケール装置は、増分パターンおよび少なくとも1つのスケール線を形成するように配置されたスケールマーキングを有するスケールを含み、読取りヘッドは、出力信号を生成する増分検出器手段ならびにゼロ交差のある信号を生成するスケール線検出器手段を含み、前記方法は、
(a)前記スケールに対して、前記読取りヘッドを移動させるステップと、
(b)前記増分検出器からの前記出力を用いて、前記出力信号中の所定の位相を求めるステップと、
(c)前記スケール線検出器からの前記出力を用いて、前記ゼロ交差を求めるステップと、
(d)前記ゼロ交差の両側について、前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記スケール線検出器からの前記信号の値を決定するステップと、
(e)前記ステップ(d)で求められた前記値を用いて、スケール線パルスの幅を定義するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号は、直交信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の位相は、各直交サイクルにおける角度位置であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのスケール線は、基準マークであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記スケール線検出器からの前記信号は、差電圧信号であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記スケール線検出器は、分割検出器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記スケール線検出器からの前記出力が、格納されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6いずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記スケール線検出器からの前記出力が、メモリに格納されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 先行の出力および後続の出力の間でゼロ交差が検出されないとき、格納された前記先行の出力は、前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記後続の出力によって上書きされることを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- 先行の出力および後続の出力の間でゼロ交差が検出されたとき、格納された前記先行の出力は、前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記後続の出力によって上書きされないことを特徴とする請求項7乃至9いずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記スケール線パルスの中心を定義するために、前記ステップ(d)で求めた前記値が用いられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10いずれかに記載の方法。
- スケール測定機器を較正する装置であって、
増分パターンを形成するように配置されたスケールマーキングおよび少なくとも1つのスケール線を含むスケールと、
出力信号を生成する増分検出器手段およびゼロ交差のある信号を生成するスケール線検出器手段を含む読取りヘッドと、
前記スケールに対して前記読取りヘッドが移動されるときに、
(a)前記増分検出器からの前記出力を用いて前記出力信号中の所定の位相を求めるステップと、
(b)前記スケール線検出器からの前記出力を用いて前記ゼロ交差を求めるステップと、
(c)前記ゼロ交差の両側を対象として、前記増分検出器からの前記出力信号中の前記所定の位相に対応する前記スケール線検出器からの前記信号の値を求めるステップと、
(d)前記ステップ(c)で求められた前記値を用いて、前記スケール線パルスの幅を定義するステップとを実行できるロジックコントローラと
を備えたことを特徴とする装置。
