Claims (6)
- 移動局の位置を決定する方法であって、

前記位置を周期的に更新することであって、前記更新する頻度は前記移動局の前記位置の関数であるようになっている前記位置を周期的に前記更新することと
を含み、かつ
前記位置を更新する前記頻度は前記移動局が前記位置に滞在する時間の長さの関数であるようになっている移動局の位置を決定する方法。 - 請求項1記載の移動局の位置を決定する方法において、前記更新は前記移動局が遊休モードにある間に前記移動局によって遂行される移動局の位置を決定する方法。
- 請求項1記載の移動局の位置を決定する方法において、前記更新は前記移動局がパケット交換呼に従事している間に前記移動局によって遂行される移動局の位置を決定する方法。
- 請求項1記載の移動局の位置を決定する方法において、前記更新は前記移動局が回線交換呼に従事している間に前記移動局によって遂行される移動局の位置を決定する方法。
- 請求項1記載の移動局の位置を決定する方法であって、前記移動局から基地局へ位置情報を送信することを更に含む移動局の位置を決定する方法。
- 移動局であって、
無線周波数信号を送信しかつ受信するトランシーバと、
前記移動局の位置を周期的に決定する測位受信機と、
前記トランシーバと前記測位受信機とを制御する制御論理であって、前記制御論理は前記移動局の前記位置の関数として前記位置を決定する頻度を変更するようになっている前記制御論理と
を含み、かつ
前記制御論理は前記移動局が前記位置に滞在する時間の長さに基づいて前記移動局の前記位置を決定する頻度を変更するようになっている移動局。
