Description
a)溶融ガラスが重力作用によって溶融金属槽上を拡がって熱拡散領域を形成するように溶融金属槽上へ溶融ガラスを注入する工程、
b)溶融ガラスから形成されるガラスシートと無接触であるフラグを流動溶融ガラスの両側上の前記熱拡散領域中の溶融金属槽中に配置する工程、及び
c)前記ガラスシートを加速することによって該ガラスシートへ最終出口速度を与える工程を含んで構成される。
Claims (4)
- a)溶融ガラスが重力作用によって溶融金属槽上へ拡がって熱拡散領域を形成するように、溶融金属槽(2)上へ熱ガラス溶融液(4)を注入する工程、
b)前記溶融ガラスから形成されるガラスシート(3、3’)と無接触であるフラグを前記溶融ガラス両面上の前記熱拡散領域内の溶融金属槽中にガラスシート(3,3’)の送り方向にほぼ直角に配置する工程、及び
c)前記ガラスシートを加速させて該ガラスシート(3,3’)へ最終出口速度を与える工程を含んで構成される、平板ガラス基板製造のためのフロートガラス加工方法。 - 前記フラグ(9)が前記溶融金属槽(2)の深さの全体に亘って延びていることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の加工方法。
- 前記フラグ(9)が黒鉛から成ることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の加工方法。
- 前記フラグ(9)が、前記ガラスシート(3,3’)の送り方向に対する角度が90°〜30°であることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の加工方法。
