Claims (8)
- 複数の伝送アンテナを有し、直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)伝送システムにおいてデータシンボル及びパイロットシンボルを送信する送信装置において、
上記データシンボルと上記パイロットシンボルとを生成するシンボル生成手段と、
上記複数の伝送アンテナを介した上記OFDM伝送システムの複数のサブキャリアを用いて、上記データシンボル及びパイロットシンボルをそれぞれ送信する手段と
を備え、
上記シンボル生成手段は、周波数軸における第1のパイロットシンボルパターンが、少なくとも、既定のサブキャリアを用いて送信される第1種パイロットシンボルと、別の既定のサブキャリアを用いて送信される第2種パイロットシンボルとを含有するように、上記第1種パイロットシンボルと、上記第1種パイロットシンボルの逆値を有する上記第2種パイロットシンボルとを生成し、
上記複数の伝送アンテナの1つを用いて送信される上記第1のパイロットシンボルパターンは、別の伝送アンテナを用いて送信される第2のパイロットシンボルパターンとは異なるパターンを有し、
上記第1のパイロットシンボルパターンに含まれる第1のパイロットシンボルの上記周波数軸上で隣接する少なくともいくつかのペアは、上記第2のパイロットシンボルパターンに含まれる第2のパイロットシンボルの対応するペアとそれぞれ直交する、
送信装置。 - 上記第1のパイロットシンボルパターンに含まれる第1のパイロットシンボルの時間軸上で隣接する少なくともいくつかのペアは、上記第2のパイロットシンボルパターンに含まれる第2のパイロットシンボルの対応するペアとそれぞれ直交する、請求項1に記載の送信装置。
- 上記第1種パイロットシンボル及び上記第2種パイロットシンボルは、時間軸上で規則的に配置される、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の送信装置。
- 上記第1のパイロットシンボルパターンは、時間軸上に配置される上記第1種パイロットシンボル及び上記第2種パイロットシンボルを含み、上記複数の伝送アンテナの1つに割当てられ、別の伝送アンテナに割当てられる上記第2のパイロットシンボルパターンとは異なるパターンである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の送信装置。
- 2つの伝送アンテナを有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の送信装置。
- STTD方式に基づいてデータストリームを符号化することにより上記データシンボルを生成し、STTD符号化された第1及び第2のデータストリームを出力するための符号化手段、
を備える、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の送信装置。 - OFDM信号を送信するための第1及び第2のアンテナ手段を備え、
上記第1及び第2のアンテナ手段は、空間ダイバーシチ構成において互いに間隔を空けて配置される、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の送信装置。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の送信装置を含む、直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)無線通信システムの基地局。
