F:配向基板フィルムの前記搬送ロールに対する最大静止摩擦力(N)
t1:T1の値を、配向基板フィルムの搬送方向と垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2)
t2:T2の値を、配向基板フィルムの搬送方向と垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2)
上流側部分の張力の大きさを制御している。そのため、T1´及びT2´の変動をより精度よく抑制することが可能であり、配向基板フィルムが搬送ロールの表面上を滑る可能性をより低下させることができる。

ただし、
T1:配向基板フィルム20のうち、搬送ロール37の下流側部分に付与されている張力の設定値(N)

F:配向基板フィルム20の搬送ロール37に対する最大静止摩擦力(N)
t1:T1の値を、配向基板フィルム20の搬送方向Aと垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2)
t2:T2の値を、配向基板フィルム20の搬送方向Aと垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2)
Claims (2)
- 搬送ロールによって搬送される配向基板フィルムの表面に、下記式(1)、式(2)及び式(3)を満たすようにT1、T2、F、t1、t2を設定して液晶ポリマーを塗布する塗布工程を有することを特徴とする液晶フィルムの製造方法。
(1):|T1−T2|<F
(2):5(N/mm2)≦t1≦20(N/mm2)
(3):5(N/mm2)≦t2≦20(N/mm2)
ただし、
T1:前記配向基板フィルムのうち、前記搬送ロールの下流側部分に付与されている張力の設定値(N)
T2:前記配向基板フィルムのうち、前記搬送ロールの上流側部分に付与されている張力の設定値(N)
F:前記配向基板フィルムの前記搬送ロールに対する最大静止摩擦力(N)
t1:T1の値を、前記配向基板フィルムの搬送方向と垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2)
t2:T2の値を、前記配向基板フィルムの搬送方向と垂直な断面の面積で除した値(N/mm2) - 前記塗布工程が、磁歪効果を利用した張力検出器によって、前記配向基板フィルムの前記下流側部分に付与されている張力と、上流側部分に付与されている張力とを測定する工程と、
前記下流側部分に付与されている張力をT1に近づけるように制御する工程と、
前記上流側部分に付与されている張力をT2に近づけるように制御する工程とを含む、請求項1に記載の液晶フィルムの製造方法。
