Description
炭酸エチレン30体積%及び炭酸ジエチル70体積%からなる混合有機溶媒に、添加剤として下記化学式5の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンを1重量%添加し、リチウム塩としては、1.3M LiPF6を使用して、有機電解液を製造した。
前記化学式5の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンの添加量を3重量%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で有機電解液を製造した。
前記化学式5の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンの添加量を5重量%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で有機電解液を製造した。
前記化学式5の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンの添加量を0.1重量%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で有機電解液を製造した。
前記化学式4の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンの添加量を10重量%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で有機電解液を製造した。
前記化学式4の2,2−ジメチル−3,4−ジ(シアノメチレン)オキセタンの添加量を0.01重量%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で有機電解液を製造した。
炭酸エチレン30体積%、及び炭酸ジエチル70体積%からなる混合有機溶媒に、リチウム塩としては1.3M LiPF6を使用して、添加剤なしに有機電解液を製造した。
アノード活物質は、黒鉛系粉末96wt%、結合剤としてPVdF 4wt%、及びNMP 100mlを添加してよく混合した後、セラミックボールを入れて約10時間よく混錬させた。前記混合物を厚さ19μmの銅箔上に300μm間隔のドクターブレードでキャスティングしてアノード電極を得た後、それを90℃のオーブンに入れて約10時間乾燥させて、NMPを完全に蒸発させた。その後、前記アノード電極をロールプレスして厚さ120μmのアノードを得た。
炭酸エチレン30体積%及び炭酸ジメチル70体積%からなる混合有機溶媒に添加剤なしに、リチウム塩としては1.3M LiClO4を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例7と同じ方法でコインセルを製造した。
アノードとしてシリコン薄膜を使用した。使われたシリコン薄膜は、圧延された銅箔(厚さ20μm)の表面にRFスパッタリング(radio frequency sputtering)法を使用して非晶質シリコン膜を形成させて製造し、この場合、薄膜電極の厚さは0.15μmであった。
前記比較例1により製造された有機電解液を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例8と同じ方法でポーチセルを製造した。
比較例4:リチウム電池の製造(シリコン薄膜アノード)
前記比較例5により製造された有機電解液を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例8と同じ方法でポーチセルを製造した。
前記実施例7及び比較例2で製造されたコインセルに対して活物質1g当り50mAの電流でLi電極に対して0.001Vに到達するまで定電流充電し、次いで、0.001Vの電圧を維持しながら電流が活物質1g当り5mAに低くなるまで定電圧充電を実施して充放電曲線を得た。実験結果は図1に示した。図1に示されたように実施例7の場合には、平坦な充放電領域を示すが、比較例2の場合には、不可逆的反応が起きて、電池としての使用が不可能である。前記実験結果は、本発明による添加剤が炭素アノード表面でSEI膜を効果的に形成するためであると考えられる。
前記実施例8ないし11、参考例2、及び比較例3及び4で製造されたポーチセルに対して活物質1g当り50mAの電流でLi電極に対して0.01Vに到達するまで定電流充電し、次いで、0.01Vの電圧を維持しながら電流が活物質1g当り5mAに低くなるまで定電圧充電を実施した。1ないし3サイクルでは、SEI膜の形成を容易にするために0.2Cの速度で充放電を実施し、4サイクルからは0.5Cの速度で充放電を実施した。最初サイクル容量対比100回サイクルでの容量値の容量維持率をサイクル特性対応値と定めて、その結果を下記の表1に示した。また、図2には、実施例8ないし9及び比較例3の実験結果が示されている。
Claims (10)
- リチウム塩と、
高誘電率の溶媒と低沸点の溶媒とを含有する有機溶媒と、
下記化学式1の化合物を含み、
前記化学式1の化合物の含量は、前記有機溶媒の重量を基準として0.1ないし5重量%であることを特徴とする有機電解液。
Xは、酸素または硫黄原子であり、
n及びmは、それぞれ独立して1ないし3の整数であり、
R1、R2、R3及びR4は、それぞれ独立して水素原子、ハロゲン原子、ヒドロキシル基、置換または非置換の炭素数1ないし20のアルキル基、置換または非置換の炭素数1ないし20のアルコキシ基、置換または非置換の炭素数1ないし20のアルケニル基、置換または非置換の炭素数6ないし30のアリール基、置換または非置換の炭素数6ないし30のアリールオキシ基、置換または非置換の炭素数2ないし30のヘテロアリール基、あるいは置換または非置換の炭素数2ないし30のヘテロアリールオキシ基を表す。 - 前記化学式1の化合物の含量が前記有機溶媒の重量を基準として1ないし3重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電解液。
- 前記リチウム塩の濃度が0.5ないし2.0Mであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電解液。
- 前記高誘電率の溶媒が炭酸エチレン、炭酸プロピレン、炭酸ブチレン及びγ−ブチロラクトンから構成された群から選択された一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電解液。
- 前記低沸点の溶媒が炭酸ジメチル、炭酸エチルメチル、炭酸ジエチル、炭酸ジプロピル、ジメトキシエタン、ジエトキシエタン及び脂肪酸エステル誘導体から構成された群から選択された一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電解液。
- カソードと、
アノードと、
請求項1ないし請求項9のうちいずれか一項に記載の有機電解液と、を含むことを特徴とするリチウム電池。
