Description
−巻き上げ可能、および巻き戻し可能な(貯蔵および搬送のために)、十分な凝集力(cohesion)を有すること、
−一個ずつに切断され、手に保持され、そして手で型内に置かれうるのに十分な凝集力を有すること、
−取り扱われ、もしくは型内に置かれるとき、手を刺さないこと(RTM)、
−手で型内に置かれるとき、手で容易に変形されうること(RTM)、
−型内に手で与えられる形状を正しく保持すること(RTM)、
−インジェクション樹脂もしくはSMC(通常ポリエステル型、時々エポキシ型)でできる限り容易に含浸されること、
−特に最終的な複合材料の表面にきずを生じさせうる、孔もしくは他の表面性状がなく、できる限り均一な構造を有すること、ならびに
−できる限り多く複合体を強化すること、
である。
−できる限り高速度で、
−できる限り少ない工程で、
−できる限り少ない化学品(たとえばバインダー)を用いて、
製造しうることが望ましい。
a)繊維のマットを形成するために、走行ベルト上にガラス繊維を含む繊維を堆積もしくは放出すること、および
b)前記マットを形成するために、針がマットにあるときは、針がマットと同時に且つマットの動きの方向と平行な方向に動かされるような速度を有する水平成分を有する支持体上に支持され、1〜25ストローク/cm2のストローク密度を有するひげ針(ひげのあるニードルともいう)をマットに通すことによりマットをニードリングする、ことを含む前記製造方法に関する。
a)ニードリング前に水溶性バインダー(たとえば、ポリビニルアルコール)によりマットの繊維を結合し、ついでニードリング前に水もしくは水性溶液に溶解することによりバインダーを除去することにより、マットの繊維を結合すること;
b)ニードリング前に水溶性バインダー(たとえば、ポリビニルアルコール)によりマットの繊維を結合し、ついでニードリング後に水もしくは水性溶液に溶解することによりバインダーを除去することにより、マットの繊維を結合すること;
c)走行ベルト上にそれ自体は置かれているフィルム上に繊維を堆積もしくは放出し、ついで可能な中間的貯蔵のために、フィルムと同時に非結合繊維の重なりを巻き上げ(フィルムは種々の巻上げられる層が混合されるのを防止する)、ついで二重のフィルム/重なり層を巻き戻し、本発明の方法を継続するためにフィルムを除去し、走行ベルト上に
重なりを配置すること。
−樹脂ペースト層上に本発明によるマットを水平に巻き戻すこと、ついで
−マット上に切断繊維を放出すること、ついで
−切断繊維上に樹脂ペースト層を巻き戻すこと。
Claims (21)
- ガラス繊維を含むニードルマットの製造方法であり、
a)繊維のマットを形成するために、走行ベルト上にガラス繊維を含む繊維を堆積もしくは放出すること、および
b)ニードルマットを形成するために、針がマットの中にあるときは、針がマットと同時に且つマットの動きの方向と平行な方向に動かされるような速度を有する水平成分を有する支持体上に支持され、1〜25ストローク/cm2のストローク密度を有するかかりのある針をマットに通すことによりマットをニードリングする、
ことを含む、前記製造方法。 - ニードリングのストローク密度が高々15ストローク/cm2であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ニードリングのストローク密度が高々10ストローク/cm2であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ニードリングのストローク密度が少なくとも2ストローク/cm2であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか記載の方法。
- 繊維がガラス繊維を含む連続繊維であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか記載の方法。
- 繊維がガラス繊維を含む切断繊維であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか記載の方法。
- 針のかかりは該支持体に向けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか記載の方法。
- マットおよびニードルマットが2〜35m/分の速度で進むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか記載の方法。
- マットおよびニードルマットが少なくとも8m/分の速度で進むことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか記載の方法。
- マットおよびニードルマットが高々20m/分の速度で進むことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか記載の方法。
- ニードルが楕円運動を描くことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか記載の方法。
- ニードルマットがバインダーを含有しないことを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得られるニードルマットであって、該ニードルマットが変形し得るループの形状の連続繊維により結合されていることを特徴とするニードルマット。
- 前記ニードルマットがロール形状であることを特徴とする請求項13記載のマット。
- 熱硬化性樹脂で請求項13記載のニードルマットを含浸することを含む熱硬化性マトリックス複合材料の製造方法。
- 含浸が密閉した型インジェクション(RTM)を用いることを特徴とする請求項15記載の方法。
- 熱硬化性樹脂ペーストの2つの層の間への請求項13記載のニードルマットの連続的挿入を含む予備含浸されたシートの製造方法。
- 請求項13記載のニードマットおよび熱硬化性樹脂を含む予備含浸されたシート。
- 主たる面への加圧により請求項18記載のシートを成形し、ついで樹脂の固化前にシートを広げさせる複合材料の製造方法。
- 請求項15、16もしくは19のいずれか記載の方法により得られる複合材料。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得られるニードマットであって、さらに熱硬化性マトリックスが含有されている複合材料。
