Description

Claims (5)
- 半透過型液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)装置であって:
活性層を有する液晶ディスプレイセル;
前記液晶ディスプレイセルのバックライティングのためのバックライトシステム;
前記バックライトシステムからもたらされる光を通すための開口を備えた、環境光を反射する部分ミラー;及び
前記活性層と前記バックライトシステムとの間にパターニングされた偏光部を有する偏光手段であって、前記パターニングされた偏光部は前記部分ミラーの前記開口内に備えられている、偏光手段;
を有する半透過型LCD装置。 - 請求項1に記載の半透過型LCD装置であって、前記パターニングされた偏光部は直線偏光部である、半透過型LCD装置。
- 請求項1に記載の半透過型LCD装置であって、前記偏光手段は、前記活性層と前記バックライトシステムとの間に1/4波長遅延部を更に有する、半透過型LCD装置。
- 請求項1に記載の半透過型LCD装置であって、前記部分ミラーは前記バックライトシステムに対して光を再利用するように備えられている、半透過型LCD装置。
- 請求項1に記載の半透過型LCD装置であって、前記パターニングされた偏光部は反射性偏光部を有する、半透過型LCD装置。
