Description
Claims (9)
- 膜電極組立体(MEA)、並びに、反応物用の通路構造体及び冷却媒体用の通路構造体を備えたアノード側及びカソード側両極性プレートを有する燃料電池であって、
前記アノード及び/又はカソードの反応物用の通路構造体が、前記両極性プレートにおいて少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)に分割され、それぞれのフィールド(1、2)が、アノード反応物用の入口ポート(3a、5a)及び出口ポート(3b、5b)、並びに/又は、カソード反応物用の入口ポート(4a、6a)及び出口ポート(4b、6b)を有し、あるフィールド(1)におけるアノード反応物用の出口ポート(3b)が新しいアノード反応物用の調節可能な吸気ポート(10)を介して他のフィールド(2)のアノード反応物用の入口ポート(5a)に連結され、前記フィールド(1)のアノード反応物用の出口ポート(3b)から出てくる一部消費されたアノード反応物が、吸気ポート(10)から導入される新しいアノード反応物と混合され、前記他のフィールド(2)のアノード反応物用の入口ポート(5a)を経由して、前記他のフィールド(2)のアノードに供給されること、及び/又は、あるフィールド(1)におけるカソード反応物用の出口ポート(4b)が新しいカソード反応物用の調節可能な吸気ポート(9)を介して他のフィールド(2)のカソード反応物用の入口ポート(6a)に連結され、前記フィールド(1)のカソード反応物用の出口ポート(4b)から出てくる一部消費されたカソード反応物が、吸気ポート(9)から導入される新しいカソード反応物と混合され、前記他のフィールド(2)のカソード反応物用の入口ポート(6a)を経由して、前記他のフィールド(2)のカソードに供給されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)が、冷却媒体用の別々の入口及び出口ポートを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)のために冷却媒体の流量及び/又は条件を個別に設定するのに使用できる手段を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料電池。
- 一方のフィールドの少なくとも1個の冷却媒体出口ポートが、他方のフィールドの冷却媒体入口ポートに連結されることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の燃料電池。
- 少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)のために前記アノード及び/又カソードの反応物の流量及び/又は組成を個別に設定するのに使用できる手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池。
- 少なくとも1つのフィールドが、温度センサを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池。
- 少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)を、異なる温度及び/又は流速を有する冷却媒体で運転することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池の運転方法。
- 異なる特性を有するアノード及び/又はカソード反応物が、少なくとも2つのフィールド(1、2)のために使用されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の燃料電池の運転方法。
- それぞれのフィールド(1、2)の温度を測定し、それを使用して、アノード及び/又はカソード反応物の組成及び/又は流量を変化させることによって、燃料電池を制御することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の燃料電池の運転方法。
