Description
上記変性PTFEテープの溶着個所(接合面)を含むようにマイクロダンベル型により打ち抜き、得られたマイクロダンベルを200mm/分の速度で引っ張って引張強度と伸びを測定した。なお本試験には、電子計測制御式万能材料試験機(オリオンテック社製テンシロンUTM−10T)を使用した。
上記変性PTFEテープの溶着個所の段差を、JIS B0601−1982に準じて表面粗さ計(東京精密社製SURFCOM130A)にて測定した。試験結果は、Rmaxとして30μm以下であった。
溶着個所の外観を目視により観察した。
上記溶着した変性PTFEテープから溶着部を中心にして全長約10cmに切り出し、シール試験用テープサンプルとした。シール試験用テープサンプルの表面に対して、金属ナトリウムによりフッ素原子を引き抜き、ラジカルを生じさせる処理を行った後、市販のEPDMゴム(エチレン・プロピレンゴム)をリング状に予備成型した成形体と加硫接着し、シール試験用のサンプルを作製した。
Claims (3)
- シート状の変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体に形成された接合面を互いに対向し接触させて配置してなる、接合体とし、
前記接合面が接触して前記接合体に形成された接合線及びその近傍を、前記変性ポリ四フッ化エチレンの溶融温度以上の耐熱性を有する耐熱性剥離フィルムにより覆い、
前記接合線及びその近傍を、前記接合体の表裏両面から熱型により押圧しながら前記変性ポリ四フッ化エチレンの溶融温度以上の温度に加熱し、前記熱型は、一方が他方より前記接合線に対して直行方向の幅が幅広に形成されている、
ことを特徴とする変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶着方法。 - 請求項1記載の変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶着方法において、前記幅が狭い熱型とシート状の変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体との間には、金属製の板部材が介在し、
前記板部材は、前記変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶融温度以上の温度に加熱しながら加圧される際に前記幅が狭い熱型と接するように介在し、
当該板部材の前記接合線に対して直行方向の幅は、前記幅が狭い熱型よりも広く形成されている、
ことを特徴とする変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶着方法。 - 請求項2記載の変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶着方法において、前記接合線及びその近傍の加熱終了後、前記接合体の表裏両面から冷却型により加圧しながら冷却することを特徴とする変性ポリ四フッ化エチレン成形体の溶着方法。
