Description
一実施例においては、動作モードと状態リフレッシュ・モードとの間で交互に使用されるリフレッシュ負荷装置を含む電子回路の電力消費を減少する方法が提供される。この方法は、これらのモードのいずれが使用されるかに関してリフレッシュ負荷装置への供給電位を調整することを含む。

Claims (10)
- セルフリフレッシュを行なうリフレッシュモードであり、かつ交流電力から電力を供給する交流モードと、前記リフレッシュモードであり、かつ電池から電力を供給する電池モードとのいずれかに交互に電力が供給される回路においてリフレッシュ装置の電力消費を減少する方法であって、
電池モードにおいて前記リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を最低値に調整し、交流モードにおいて前記リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を中間値に調整するとともに、通常動作を行なう動作モードにおいて前記リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を最高値に調整するステップを備える、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記調整するステップは、前記リフレッシュ装置に電位を与える多状態フィードバック制御器が使用されるステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、前記調整するステップは、抵抗分割器回路を使用する前記多状態フィードバック制御器によって特徴付けられる、方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、前記調整するステップは、デジタル・ポテンショメータを使用する前記多状態フィードバック制御器によって特徴付けられる、方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、前記調整するステップは、前記リフレッシュ装置に供給される選択された電位に関係する決定論的論理行列を使用する前記多状態フィードバック制御器によって特徴付けられる、方法。
- セルフリフレッシュを行なうリフレッシュモードであり、かつ電池から電力を供給する電池モードにおいては、リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を最低値に調整し、前記リフレッシュモードであり、かつ交流電力から電力を供給する交流モードにおいては、前記リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を中間値に調整し、通常動作を行なう動作モードにおいては、前記リフレッシュ装置への供給電位を最高値に調整する電力調整装置を備えた回路。
- 請求項6に記載の回路であって、前記電力調整装置は、電力調整装置からの出力電圧を決定する多状態フィードバック制御要素を有する、回路。
- 請求項7に記載の回路であって、前記多状態フィードバック制御要素は、抵抗要素と並列なトランジスタを有する、回路。
- 請求項7に記載の回路であって、前記多状態フィードバック制御要素は、デジタル・ポテンショメータを有する、回路。
- 請求項7に記載の回路であって、前記多状態フィードバック制御要素は、前記リフレッシュ装置に供給される選択された電位に関係する決定論的論理行列を含む、回路。
