Claims (5)
- 表示装置の表示面上のタッチ位置の座標を検出するタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示システムであって、
前記タッチセンサは、前記表示装置の表示面上に配置されて押圧による容量変化を検出するための複数のX座標電極と、該X座標電極と絶縁層を介して交叉配置した複数のY座標電極とを有しており、
当該画面入力型画像表示システムは、
前記タッチセンサの前記X座標電極と前記Y座標電極の間の容量変化を検出する検出回路と、
検出回路の検出出力をデジタルデータに変換するアナログ−デジタル・コンバータと、
タッチされた座標を判定するタッチパネル制御回路と、
前記タッチパネル制御回路のタッチ座標データを入力すると共に、当該画面入力型画像表示システムを制御する主制御回路と、
前記表示装置の表示を制御する表示制御回路と、
を備え、
前記主制御回路は、前記タッチ座標データからユーザのタッチの発生とその座標を判断し、当該判断された座標に応じた表示信号を前記表示制御回路を通して前記表示装置に供給し、
前記タッチパネル制御回路は、前記座標検出を第1の期間と第2の期間に分離し、前記第1の期間で静電容量が変化するX座標電極とY座標電極を検出し、前記第2の期間で検出されたX座標電極とY座標電極の組合せを判定するための操作を行い、その結果に基づいてタッチ位置の座標を出力して、
前記第1の期間で検出されたX座標電極とY座標電極がそれぞれ2以上の場合に、座標の組合せを判定する前記第2の期間の操作を実施し、前記第1の期間で検出されたX座標電極とY座標電極のうち、どちらか一方が1の場合には前記第2の期間の操作を行わずに連続して前記第1の期間の座標検出を行うことを特徴とする画面入力型画像表示システム。 - 請求項1において、
前記第2の期間では、検出されたX座標電極又は全てのX座標電極に印加する信号を、
判定したい前記複数の検出されたY座標電極の一つに印加することを特徴とする画面入力型画像表示システム。 - 請求項1において、
前記第2の期間において、判定したいY座標電極に信号を印加した状態で、判定したい前記第1の期間で検出されたX座標電極の出力信号を該第1の期間で検出した出力信号とを比較することで座標の組合せを判断することを特徴とする画面入力型画像表示システム。 - 請求項2又は3において、
前記第2の期間の座標判定において、該第2の期間で信号を印加しているY座標電極と組み合わせるX座標電極は、前記第1の期間におけるX座標電極の出力信号と比べ、前記第2の期間におけるX座標電極の出力信号がより少なくなったX座標電極とすることを特徴とする画面入力型画像表示システム。 - 表示装置の表示面上のタッチ位置の座標を検出するタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示システムであって、
前記タッチセンサは、
前記表示装置の表示面上に配置されて押圧による容量変化を検出するための複数のX座標電極と、該X座標電極と絶縁層を介して交叉配置した複数のY座標電極とを有し、
第1の期間で静電容量が変化するX座標電極とY座標電極を検出し、第2の期間で検出されたX座標電極とY座標電極の組合せを判定し、その判定結果に基づいてタッチ位置の座標を出力することを特徴とする画面入力型画像表示システム。
