Description
前記複数の検出電極は、平面視にてX軸方向において直列に接続されX軸電極列を構成する複数のX軸電極と、前記X軸方向に直交するY軸方向において直列に接続されY軸電極列を構成する複数のY軸電極とからなり、前記Y軸方向において間隔を開けて配された複数の前記X軸電極列が、前記X軸方向において間隔を開けて配された複数の前記Y軸電極列と交差して配設されており、
前記複数の検出電極のうち、前記検出対象領域の前記X軸方向における両端部及び前記Y軸方向における両端部に位置する検出電極の電極面積を、前記検出対象領域の前記X軸方向及び前記Y軸方向の中央部に位置する検出電極の電極面積に対して相対的に大きくすることで、前記検出対象領域の相対的に検出感度が低い低感度領域である前記X軸方向における両端部及び前記Y軸方向における両端部に形成される静電容量を、相対的に検出感度が高い高感度領域である前記X軸方向及び前記Y軸方向の中央部に形成される静電容量に対して相対的に大きくしたことを特徴とする。
図1は、本実施の形態に係る静電容量式検出装置の構成図である。図1に示すように、本実施の形態に係る静電容量式検出装置1は、平面視にて略矩形形状のセンサ基板11と、隣接電極間で静電容量が形成されるように、検出対象領域となるセンサ基板11に配設された複数の検出電極12と、を具備する。複数の検出電極12は、センサ基板11の相対的に検出感度が低い低感度領域に形成される静電容量が、相対的に検出感度が高い高感度領域に形成される静電容量に対して相対的に大きくなるように配設される。また、複数の検出電極12は、センサ基板11外縁部に形成される静電容量が、センサ基板11中央部に形成される静電容量に対して相対的に大きくなるように配設される。

Claims (4)
- 隣接電極間で静電容量が形成されるように、検出対象領域に配設された複数の検出電極を具備し、
前記複数の検出電極は、平面視にてX軸方向において直列に接続されX軸電極列を構成する複数のX軸電極と、前記X軸方向に直交するY軸方向において直列に接続されY軸電極列を構成する複数のY軸電極とからなり、前記Y軸方向において間隔を開けて配された複数の前記X軸電極列が、前記X軸方向において間隔を開けて配された複数の前記Y軸電極列と交差して配設されており、
前記複数の検出電極のうち、前記検出対象領域の前記X軸方向における両端部及び前記Y軸方向における両端部に位置する検出電極の電極面積を、前記検出対象領域の前記X軸方向及び前記Y軸方向の中央部に位置する検出電極の電極面積に対して相対的に大きくすることで、前記検出対象領域の相対的に検出感度が低い低感度領域である前記X軸方向における両端部及び前記Y軸方向における両端部に形成される静電容量を、相対的に検出感度が高い高感度領域である前記X軸方向及び前記Y軸方向の中央部に形成される静電容量に対して相対的に大きくしたことを特徴とする静電容量式検出装置。 - 前記検出対象領域は、平面視にて略矩形形状であり、前記検出対象領域の中央部に位置し相対的に検出感度が高い高感度領域である中央検出領域と、前記検出対象領域の角部に位置し相対的に検出感度が低い低感度領域である角部検出領域と、前記検出対象領域の辺に沿って前記角部検出領域から前記X軸方向及び前記Y軸方向へと延び、前記中央検出領域と前記角部検出領域との中間感度領域である辺部検出領域とからなり、前記検出電極の電極面積の大きさは、前記角部検出領域>前記辺部検出領域>前記中央検出領域の順であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の静電容量式検出装置。
- 前記複数の検出電極は、平面視にてそれぞれ略菱形形状をなしており、一対の対角線の一方が前記X軸方向に、他方が前記Y軸方向に向いている請求項1又は請求項2記載の静電容量式検出装置。
- 前記高感度領域にグランド電極を配設したことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の静電容量式検出装置。
