Description
前記ノンハロゲン難燃性被覆は、エチレン系ポリマー100重量部に対し、加熱膨張性黒鉛3〜30重量部を含有するノンハロゲン難燃性組成物からなる難燃層と、その外周に設けられた加熱膨張性黒鉛を含有せず、かつ引張強さが10MPa以上で、伸びが350%である表面保護層とを有することを特徴とする。
エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体(三井デュポンポリケミカル社製 商品名 エバフレックスEY180)、膨張性黒鉛(東ソー社製 商品名 フレームカットGREP−EG;1000℃での膨張性180倍)、赤燐(燐化学工業社製 商品名 ノーバレッド120)および水酸化マグネシウム(協和化学工業社製 商品名 キスマ5A)を用い、表1に示す配合で各成分を均一に混練して難燃性樹脂組成物を得た。
5分間、圧力20MPaの条件で加熱加圧成型して試験用シートを作製し、JIS C 3005に準拠して引張強さおよび伸びを測定した。また、JIS K 7201に基づき酸素指数を測定した。さらに、同様にして作製した試験用シート(6.5mm×150mm×1mm)について垂直燃焼試験を行い、着火(チリルバーナ(炎高さ19mm)を5秒間接炎)後の燃焼状況を評価した。これらの結果を表1下欄に示す。
Claims (5)
- 導体外周に、エチレン系ポリマーを主体とするノンハロゲン難燃性被覆を備えた難燃電線・ケーブルであって、
前記ノンハロゲン難燃性被覆は、エチレン系ポリマー100重量部に対し、加熱膨張性黒鉛3〜30重量部を含有するノンハロゲン難燃性組成物からなる難燃層と、その外周に設けられた加熱膨張性黒鉛を含有せず、かつ引張強さが10MPa以上で、伸びが350%である表面保護層とを有することを特徴とする難燃電線・ケーブル。 - 前記ノンハロゲン難燃性組成物は、エチレン系ポリマー100重量部に対し、赤燐系難燃剤3〜30重量部をさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の難燃電線・ケーブル。
- 前記表面保護層は、さらに赤燐系難燃剤を含有しないことを特徴とする請求項2記載の難燃電線・ケーブル
- エチレン系ポリマーが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン・アクリル酸エチル共重合体、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体およびエチレン・プロピレン共重合体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の難燃電線・ケーブル。
- エチレン系ポリマーが、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体を含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の難燃電線・ケーブル。
