Description
・カーボン粒子に電解酸化や酸性溶液中での酸化などの処理を施してカーボン粒子の表面に親水材料6として官能基を付与する方法。
・カーボン粒子の表面に親水材料6として界面活性剤を付与する方法。
・カーボン粒子の表面に親水材料6としてSiO2 やTiO2 などの酸化物や電解質膜として用いる材料の液体状や粉末状のものを付着させる方法。
・カーボン粒子の表面にプラズマ処理などを施して表面を粗面化する方法。

Claims (3)
- 互いに対向する各電極間に挟まれるアノード側とカソード側の両面に触媒層を備え、
イオン透過性を有する燃料電池用電解質膜において、
前記触媒層を触媒を担持した導電性粒子によって形成し、
少なくとも前記アノード側の触媒層の周囲に境界層を設け、
この境界層を親水処理が施されるとともに前記触媒層より少ない量の触媒を担持した導電性粒子を敷き詰めて形成し、
前記境界層にて未反応ガスが化学反応することが前記少ない量の触媒を介して促される構成としたことを特徴とする燃料電池用電解質膜。 - イオン透過性を有する電解質膜と、
この電解質膜を挟んで対向する各電極と、
各電解質膜とこの各電極の間に介在するアノード側とカソード側の各触媒層と、
この各触媒層に燃料ガスまたは酸化剤ガスを供給する各ガス流路とを備えて発電する燃料電池において、
前記触媒層を触媒を担持した導電性粒子によって形成し、
少なくとも前記アノード側の触媒層の周囲に境界層を設け、
この境界層を親水処理が施されるとともに前記触媒層より少ない量の触媒を担持した導電性粒子を敷き詰めて形成し、
前記境界層にて未反応ガスが化学反応することが前記少ない量の触媒を介して促される構成としたことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 前記境界層をガスが供給される入口ガスマニホールドとガスが排出される出口ガスマニホールドとに近接する部位に限定して形成したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料電池。
