Description
図1は本発明に係る中性子遮蔽体の第1実施形態を示す図である。
(1) 粉末状の中性吸収材71(たとえば、B4C)を収容し、上下方向に積層される複数の収容体72と、この収容体72を格納する被覆管74と、を備える。このため、収容体72の内部において、たとえば10B(n,α)7Li反応により発生したヘリウムガスを粉末充填領域の微細隙間に収容可能となる。そして、複数の独立した収容体72を積層した構成であるため、収容体72の力学的安定性に優れる。したがって、原子炉の炉心外側に配置される中性子遮蔽体を対象として、中性子吸収材の構造健全性に優れる。
図4は本発明に係る中性子遮蔽体の第2実施形態を示す図である。第2実施形態は、第1実施形態の収容体72における蓋板722および底板723の構成を変更した例である。なお、第1実施形態と同様の構成は同一符号を付して説明を省略し、第1実施形態の構成を変更し或いは新たに追加した構成は符号末尾に「A」を付して説明する。
図5は本発明に係る中性子遮蔽体の第3実施形態を示す図である。第3実施形態は、第1実施形態の収容体72における蓋板722および底板723の構成を変更した例である。なお、第1実施形態と同様の構成は同一符号を付して説明を省略し、第1実施形態の構成を変更し或いは新たに追加した構成は符号末尾に「B」を付して説明する。
Claims (3)
- 原子炉の炉心外側に配置され、炉心から漏れ出る中性子を吸収する中性子遮蔽体において、
粉末状の中性吸収材を収容し、上下方向に積層される複数の収容体と、
前記収容体を格納する被覆管と、
前記被覆管の内部上方設けられ、中性子吸収材の中性子吸収反応により生じて収容体の外側に漏れ出た気体が案内される上部室と、
その上部室に設けられ、最上層の収容体を収容体の積層方向に押圧することにより各収容体を支持すると共に収容体の熱膨張或いはスウェリングその他の要因に基づく変形を許容する支持機構と、を備え、
前記収容体が被覆管に格納された状態で、その収容体と被覆管の合せ面に隙間が形成したことを特徴とする中性子遮蔽体。 - 前記収容体は、その内部上方に空間を残して前記粉末状の中性子吸収材を収容することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中性子遮蔽体。
- 前記収容体は、中性子吸収材を収納するシュラウド管と、シュラウド管の上部開口を塞ぐ蓋板と、シュラウド管の下部開口を塞ぐ底板と、を有し、中性子吸収材の充填領域を密閉しないように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中性子遮蔽体。
