Description
このため、両者の軸受部10のアキシアルすき間を最終的に等しくするために、アキシアルすき間の異なる2種類の軸受部10を設けていたので、製造や在庫管理が面倒で、コストの上昇を招いていた。
また、上記の従動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトの貫通穴の内径を、前記駆動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトに設けたスプラインの凸部で形成される内径より小径にした。
このような従動輪用軸受装置Fのハブシャフト1は、素材であるハブシャフトのフランジ2の端面や円筒部4の外周などが機械加工により仕上げられて使用される。
一方、駆動輪用軸受装置Dのハブシャフト1の円筒部4に軸受部10を圧入すると、円筒部4は肉厚t1が薄く剛性が低いため、軸受部10のアキシアルすき間は従動輪用軸受装置Fと比較して変化量が小さい。しかし、ハブシャフト1の雌スプライン9に等速ジョイントのスプライン軸を嵌入すると、その締付けにより前述のように軸受部10のアキシアルすき間が減少する。
この場合、従動輪用軸受装置Fのハブシャフト1の円筒部4の板厚tをあらかじめ算出した値に設定することにより、両者の軸受部10のアキシアルすき間の減少量をほぼ等しくすることができる。
Claims (3)
- アウタ側に車軸が取付けられるフランジを有し、該フランジのインナ側に円筒部が形成されて該円筒部の中心部に貫通穴が設けられ、駆動輪用軸受装置と従動輪用軸受装置に共用されるハブシャフトと、
内輪及び外輪とこれら両者の間に配設された転動体とからなり、前記ハブシャフトの円筒部に圧入される軸受部とを有し、
前記ハブシャフトを前記従動輪用軸受装置に用いると共に、前記ハブシャフトの貫通穴を拡径して軸方向にスプラインを形成し、前記駆動輪用軸受装置に用いたことを特徴とする車軸用軸受装置。 - 前記従動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトの円筒部の肉厚を、前記駆動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトの円筒部の肉厚より厚く形成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車軸用軸受装置。
- 前記従動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトの貫通穴の内径を、前記駆動輪用軸受装置のハブシャフトに設けたスプラインの凸部で形成される内径より小径にしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車軸用軸受装置。
