Description
本発明は、フリーラジカル架橋性ポリマー、フリーラジカル誘導種、架橋プロファイル変成剤および発泡剤を含んでなる架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物である。好ましくは、フリーラジカル誘導種は低温フリーラジカル誘導種である。
試験方法
次の試験方法を使用して、限定されない実施例を評価した。
(1)密度
硬さ(Asker C)をASTM D−2240により測定した。各サンプルを試験前に最低12時間、好ましくは製造後7日以上コンディショニングした。コンディショニングを23±2℃および50±1%の湿度で行った。
ゲルレベル(パーセントゲル)をASTM D−2765、手順Aにしたがって測定した。溶剤はキシレンであった。粒子がU.S.No.30シーブ(sieve)を通過するが、U.S.No.60シーブを通過しないように、各サンプルを摩砕した。
金型中で、距離が10mm離れた2つの点を示す。例示材料を金型から離型した後、この点の間の距離を直ちに測定する。30分後、この点の間の同一の距離を再度測定する;この値を10で割り、膨張比として示す。
収縮(パーセント)をSATRAスタンダードPM−70により測定した。芯付きの成形物から3個の150mm×25mm×5mm片を切り取り、試験片を作製した。試験片に各縁から25mmにおいて150mm長さの浅い切れ目を作った。
圧縮永久歪み(パーセント)をASTM D−3574により測定した。芯付きの成形物から2.8cmの直径と9.4mmの厚さを有する5個の円を切り取り、試験片を作製した。1試験当たり3個の試験片で分析した。
スプリット引き裂きをSATRAスタンダードTM−65により測定した。試験片を25mm×75mm×5mmの寸法に切り取った。16mmの深さの切れ目をこの試験片の中心に入れた。
4つの組成物を評価した。次の成分を使用して、組成物を調製した。
(a)18重量%のビニルアセテートを含有し、2.5グラム/10minのメルトインデックスを有し、Du Pontから市販されているElvax 460(商標)エチレン/ビニルアセテートコポリマー;
(b)175℃の公称分解温度(ペルオキシドの90%が12分間で分解する温度)を有し、140℃で94分の半減期を有し、Akzo Nobel Chemicals BVから市販されているPerkadox 1440(商標)ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン;
(c)140℃の公称分解温度を有し、140℃で4.4分の半減期を有し、Akzo Nobel Chemicals BVから市販されているTrigonox C/50D(商標)tert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート;
(d)Akzo Nobel Chemicals BVから市販されているTAC 70(商標)トリアリルシアヌレート;
(e)A.H.Marksから市販されている4−ヒドロキシ−TEMPO;
(f)Crompton Uniroyalから市販されているAZO AZ 130(商標)アゾジカーボンアミド;
(g)酸化亜鉛;
(h)ステアリン酸亜鉛;および
(i)炭酸カルシウム
Claims (20)
- (a)フリーラジカル架橋性ポリマーとしてエチレン/ビニルアセテートコポリマー;
(b)低温フリーラジカル誘導種としてtert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート;
(c)架橋プロファイル変成剤として4−ヒドロキシ−TEMPO;および
(d)発泡剤
を含んでなる架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。 - 前記発泡剤は化学的発泡剤および物理的発泡剤から成る群より選択される請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記発泡剤は公称架橋温度プロファイル内に活性化温度を有する化学的発泡剤である請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記架橋プロファイル変成剤は、加熱された際に、前記架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物の均一な加熱を可能とするのに充分な量で存在する請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記架橋プロファイル変成剤は、架橋プロファイル変成剤の非存在時に達成可能な硬化速度と少なくとも同等な速さの硬化速度を達成することを可能とさせる請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記フリーラジカル誘導種は、架橋プロファイル変成剤の非存在時に達成可能な架橋密度と少なくとも同等な高さの架橋密度を達成するのに充分な量で存在する請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記架橋プロファイル変成剤の非存在時に達成可能な架橋密度と少なくとも同等な高さの架橋密度を達成するのに充分な量で存在する硬化促進剤を更に含んでなる請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物から製造された架橋発泡製品。
- 発泡気泡サイズは実質的に均一である請求項8に記載の架橋発泡製品。
- 架橋は実質的に均一である請求項8に記載の架橋発泡製品。
- (a)フリーラジカル架橋性ポリマーとしてエチレン/ビニルアセテートコポリマー;
(b)短半減期のフリーラジカル誘導種としてtert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート;
(c)架橋プロファイル変成剤として4−ヒドロキシ−TEMPO;および
(d)発泡剤
を含んでなる架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物。 - (i)(1)フリーラジカル架橋性ポリマーとしてエチレン/ビニルアセテートコポリマー、
(2)低温フリーラジカル誘導種としてtert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート、
(3)発泡剤および
(4)架橋プロファイル変成剤として4−ヒドロキシ−TEMPO
を含んでなる架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を溶融加工する工程;
(ii)前記架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を製品の形状に成形する工程;および
(iii)成形された製品として前記架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を架橋および発泡させる工程を含んでなる架橋発泡製品を製造するための改善された方法。 - 前記架橋プロファイル変成剤は、前記成形工程の間、架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物の均一な加熱を可能とするのに充分な量で存在する請求項12に記載の改善された方法。
- (i)(1)フリーラジカル架橋性ポリマーとしてエチレン/ビニルアセテートコポリマー、
(2)短半減期のフリーラジカル誘導種としてtert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート、
(3)発泡剤、および
(4)架橋プロファイル変成剤として4−ヒドロキシ−TEMPO
を含んでなる架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を溶融加工する工程;
(ii)前記架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を製品の形状に成形する工程;および
(iii)成形された製品として前記架橋発泡性ポリマー組成物を架橋および発泡させる工程を含んでなる架橋発泡製品を製造するための改善された方法。 - 溶融加工は、公称溶融加工温度よりも高い温度で行われる架橋発泡製品を製造するための請求項12〜14のいずれかに記載の改善された方法。
- 成形は、公称溶融加工温度よりも高い温度で行われる架橋発泡製品を製造するための請求項12〜15のいずれかに記載の改善された方法。
- 加工は、公称加工速度よりも少なくとも約20パーセント速く行われる請求項12〜16のいずれかに記載の改善された方法。
- 請求項12〜17のいずれかに記載の方法により製造される架橋発泡製品。
- 前記製品は靴底である請求項18に記載の架橋発泡製品。
- 前記製品は多成分系靴底である請求項19に記載の架橋発泡製品。
