Claims (7)
- プラズマディスプレイパネルと、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの複数のX電極を駆動するX電極駆動回路と、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの複数のY電極を駆動するY電極駆動回路と、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの複数のアドレス電極を駆動するアドレス電極駆動回路とを備えたプラズマディスプレイ装置であって、
前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの各X電極と前記X電極駆動回路との間、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの各Y電極と前記Y電極駆動回路との間をそれぞれ接続する第1及び第2の接続手段を有し、
前記第1及び第2の接続手段の少なくとも何れか一方は、
前記X電極駆動回路及び前記Y電極駆動回路の少なくとも何れか一方からの電流経路を、当該駆動回路に対応する接続手段の一方の側の中央部から前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの周辺部の上部或いは下部に向かい、前記上部或いは下部でそれぞれ折り返すように配し、それぞれ折り返した前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの上部または下部の電極に接続し、前記上部または下部を経由して前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの中央部の電極の方向に順次接続し、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの中央部の電極の電流経路はU字形状を成し、
前記X電極駆動回路または前記Y電極駆動回路との間で、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの中央部の電極とを接続する電流経路長が、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの周辺部の電極とを接続する電流経路長より長くすると共に、
前記折り返したU字形状となる一対の電流経路を、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの中央部と、前記上部或いは前記下部間のインダクタンスの偏差に起因する輝度偏差を低減させる電磁誘導が発生する距離まで接近させて配置することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの上部を経由してきた第1の電流経路と、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの下部を経由してきた第2の電流経路とを、前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの中央部の電極付近で導通させることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1または2記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記折り返したU字形状の前記プラズマディスプレイパネル側の接続部は、前記プラズマディスプレイパネル上に配置した複数のX電極を前記プラズマディスプレイパネルの端面部で接続した共通電極部で代用することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記一対の電流経路を接近させて配置する手法は、導体上にスリット状に切り込みを入れて平行配置する手法であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記一対の電流経路を接近させて配置する手法は、多層基板の隣接層を用いる手法であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記一対の電流経路を接近させて配置する手法は、異種基板を張り合わせて構成する手法であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項2記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置において、
前記第1の電流経路と前記第2の電流経路とを導通させる手段は、高周波領域で導通する素子であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。
