Claims (8)
- (a)通信されるべきデータに応じて、周期的に高周波信号を交流電力線に注入して、高周波トーンバーストを交流電力信号に重畳するステップと、
(b)前記交流電力線上の前記トーンバーストの有無を検出するステップと、
(c)検出した前記トーンバーストの有無をデコーディングして、前記データを抽出するステップと、
で構成され、
前記交流電力線上を通信する前記データが、第一ビット値と第二ビット値の連続によって表現され、
前記ステップ(c)が、
前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在するかを求めるステップと、
もし前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在していた場合に、指示信号を生成するステップと、
前記指示信号を、電気パルスを生成するパルス生成回路へ送信するステップと、
前記パルス生成回路が前記指示信号を受け取った場合に、変調したパルスを第一ビット値に対応させ、変調しないパルスを第二ビット値に対応させるように、前記電気パルスを変調するステップと、
で構成され、
前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在するかを求める前記ステップが、
前記交流電力信号をフィルタにかけて、前記交流電力信号から前記トーンバーストを抽出するステップと、
フィルタにかけられた前記交流電力信号からピーク電圧値を求めるステップと、
前記ピーク電圧値と参照電圧とを比較するステップと、
で構成され、
前記トーンバーストが存在する時に、前記ピーク電圧値は前記参照電圧より大きく、前記トーンバーストが存在しない時に、前記ピーク電圧値は前記参照電圧より小さくなることを特徴とする交流電力信号を送信する交流電力線上の記載のデータ通信方法。 - 前記パルス生成回路が、
前記交流電力信号に応答する交流入力信号を受信し、前記交流入力信号のピーク電圧値に比例した出力を有する、ピーク検出回路と、
前記交流入力信号と、前記ピーク検出回路の前記出力と、前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在する時に生成される指示信号とを受信し、前記交流入力信号が前記ピーク検出回路の出力より低い限りにおいて、パルスの1つを生成する比較器と、
で構成され、
もし前記指示信号が存在する場合に、前記ピーク検出回路の前記出力が増加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデータ通信方法。 - 前記交流電力信号を整流して、前記交流入力信号を生成するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のデータ通信方法。
- (a)トーンバーストが交流電力信号上に存在するかを求めるステップと、
(b)もし前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在した場合に、指示信号を生成するステップと、
(c)パルスを生成するパルス生成回路に前記指示信号を送信するステップと、
(d)もし指示信号が存在した場合にパルスを変調することによって、無変調パルスを第一ビット値に対応させ、変調パルスを第二ビット値に対応させるステップと、
で構成され、
前記ステップ(a)が、
前記交流電力信号をフィルタリングして、もし前記トーンバーストが前記交流電力信号上に存在した場合に、前記トーンバーストを抽出するステップと、
フィルタを通された交流電力信号のピーク値を求めるステップと、
で構成されていることを特徴とする交流電力線に沿って送信される交流電力信号上で通信されるデータビット値決定方法。 - 前記ステップ(b)が、
前記交流電力信号の前記ピーク値と参照電圧とを比較するステップと、
もし前記ピーク値が前記参照電圧と等しいか、より大きい場合に、前記指示信号を生成するステップと、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のデータビット値決定方法。 - 前記ステップ(d)が、
前記交流電力信号を整流して、整流された交流入力信号を生成するステップと、
前記整流された交流入力信号のピーク値を検出するステップと、
前記整流された交流入力信号の前記ピーク値に比例した閾値と参照値とを比較するステップと、
前記指示信号が存在した場合に、前記閾値を増加させるステップと、
前記交流入力信号が閾値信号と等しいか、より小さい場合に、パルスを生成するステップと、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のデータビット値決定方法。 - 交流電力線を通してガス放電ランプに電力を供給する安定器と通信するランプ制御信号に対応したトーンバーストであって、交流電力信号上に重畳された前記トーンバーストを検出するための装置であって、
前記交流電力線と結合して、前記交流電力信号をフィルタにかけて前記トーンバーストを取り出すフィルタ回路と、
前記フィルタ回路の出力と接続して、前記交流電力信号上のトーンバーストの存在を示す指示信号を生成する検出器回路と、
前記検出器回路からの前記指示信号を受信して、指示信号がトーンバーストの1つの存在を示している場合に、1つのパルスの長さを変調し、パルスを送信するパルス生成回路と、
で構成され、
前記検出器回路が、
前記フィルタ回路の出力と接続されて、前記フィルタ回路からのピーク出力電圧を検出するピーク検出器回路と、
前記ピーク検出器回路の出力を受信して、前記ピーク検出器回路の出力と参照電圧とを比較し、もし前記ピーク出力電圧が前記参照電圧と等しいか、より大きい場合に、比較器出力から指示信号を送信する、比較器回路と、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とするトーンバースト検出装置。 - 前記パルス生成回路が、
前記交流電力信号と関連した交流入力信号を受信して、前記交流入力信号のピーク電圧に比例した入力信号参照電圧を生成するピーク検出器回路と、
前記入力信号参照電圧と前記指示信号と前記交流入力信号とを受信し、前記交流入力信号と入力信号参照電圧とを比較する比較器回路と、
をさらに備え、
前記交流入力信号が前記入力信号参照電圧と等しいかより小さい限り、パルスの1つが送信され、
前記指示信号の存在が、前記入力信号参照電圧を増加させ、それによってパルスの1つの送信が延ばされることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のトーンバースト検出装置。
