図1(a)は、本発明による一実施例の液晶表示装置の概略構成の一例を示す模式分解斜視図である。図1(b)は、本実施例の液晶表示装置を筐体に収容した状態の一例を示す模式平面図である。図1(c)は、図1(b)のA−A’線における液晶表示装置の断面構成の一例を示す模式断面図である。図1(d)は、図1(b)の第1のプリント回路基板と第2のプリント回路基板の接続部分を拡大して示した模式下面図である。
図2(a)は、第2のプリント回路基板を取り付けるときに起こる現象の一例を示す模式図である。図2(b)は、液晶表示装置の組み立てが完了した後に起こる現象の一例を示す模式図である。

Claims (8)
- 第1のプリント回路基板および第2のプリント回路基板と、前記第1のプリント回路基板と前記第2のプリント回路基板とを接続するフレキシブルプリント配線板と、前記第1のプリント回路基板および前記第2のプリント回路基板を取り付けるフレーム部材とを有し、前記第1のプリント回路基板は、前記第1のプリント回路基板上の配線と前記フレキシブルプリント配線板上の配線とを機械的に接続するコネクタを有する表示装置であって、
前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記フレーム部材と対向する面側に、平面でみて前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記コネクタと重なる領域を有し、かつ、前記フレキシブルプリント配線板に沿って前記第1のプリント回路基板の端部から前記第2のプリント回路基板側に突出している異物進入防止部材を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記フレーム部材と対向する面と、前記第2のプリント回路基板の前記フレーム部材と対向する面とは、概ね直交していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、前記平面でみて前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記コネクタと重なる領域が、前記第1のプリント回路基板と前記フレーム部材とで挟まれていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、前記第1のプリント回路基板の端部から前記第2のプリント回路基板側に突出している部分の、前記第2のプリント回路基板に近いほうの端部が、前記フレキシブルプリント配線板に接触していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、前記平面でみて前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記コネクタと重なる領域が、粘着材または接着材で前記フレーム部材に貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、前記平面でみて前記第1のプリント回路基板の前記コネクタと重なる領域が、粘着材または接着材で前記第1のプリント回路基板に貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、前記第1のプリント回路基板の端部から前記第2のプリント回路基板側に突出している部分の、前記第2のプリント回路基板に近いほうの端部が、前記フレキシブルプリント配線板に貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記異物進入防止部材は、絶縁材料を用いたフィルム状の部材であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
