Description
一方、図4に、ワークのL字形のコーナ部を回転工具を用いて切削加工する例を示した。ここで、荒加工した切削部の側面と底面とを更に仕上げ加工する場合、先ず図4(a)に示したようにワーク2の側面に対して切削領域31を取り除くような仕上げ加工を行った後、図4(b)に示したように回転工具1をワーク2の側面から離間させてからワーク2の底面に対して回転工具1を切込んで加工することが一般的に行われる。
仕上げ加工工具の工具径とその刃数、コンプライアンス伝達関数、荒加工工具の工具径とその刃数、荒加工工具の工具座標、荒加工工具が取り得る座標範囲を入力値として与える。
上記に説明したように、安定して切削加工が行われる場合にはその加工能率を計算する。加工能率の大小関係は加工工具の送り方向に投影した切削領域の面積を比較することで判断することが可能である。
Claims (2)
- 回転工具を用いてワークを荒加工した後に仕上げ加工を行うワークの肩削り加工作業において、前記荒加工工程における荒加工工具の回転軸に沿って工具及びワークを切断したときの断面内であり、前記工具の径方向と平行なy軸、および工具の回転軸方向と平行なz軸における切削加工終了座標の算出方法であって、
仕上げ加工工具のコンプライアンス伝達関数、仕上げ加工工具の切れ刃形状とワーク材質の組合せで決定される切削力特性値、仕上げ加工工具の径、仕上げ加工工具の刃数、荒加工工具の径、荒加工工具の刃数、切削加工を開始するときの荒加工工具座標及び荒加工工具座標の取り得る範囲を入力値とし、
前記仕上げ加工工具の回転角と、前記荒加工工具座標の設定範囲内の荒加工工具座標とを各々入力し、前記入力した仕上げ加工工具の回転角に対応した仕上げ加工工具の軸方向と平行な断面領域であって、前記仕上げ加工工具の形状とワーク輪郭形状により囲われる切削領域中に前記仕上げ加工工具の刃先があるか否かを判別し、前記仕上げ加工工具の刃先が切削領域外であれば該仕上げ加工工具の切れ刃に作用する切削力を0とし、前記仕上げ加工工具の刃先が切削領域内であれば該仕上げ加工工具の切れ刃全長に亘って該仕上げ加工工具の切れ刃に作用する切削力を計算する切削力算出処理工程と、
更に、前記仕上げ加工工具が一回転するときの切削力の合計値から時間平均切削力を計算し、前記時間平均切削力を特性方程式に代入して得られる固有値の正負を判別処理する工程とを備えてなり、
前記固有値が負である場合、前記仕上げ加工工具を用いて行う切削加工能率を計算した後、前記荒加工工具の取り得る座標範囲内で前記荒加工工具の座標を修正し、前記切削力算出処理工程を繰返し、前記固有値が正である場合、前記仕上げ加工工具を用いて行う切削加工能率を計算せずに、前記荒加工工具の取り得る座標範囲内で前記荒加工工具の座標を修正し、前記切削力算出処理工程を繰返すことを特徴とする荒加工工具の切削加工終了座標の算出方法。 - 前記切削力算出処理工程において、前記切削力の計算が前記仕上げ加工工具が一回転するまで前記仕上げ加工工具の回転角を変化させて行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の荒加工工具の切削加工終了座標の算出方法。
