(2)大面積の有機発光素子の作製が容易である
(3)ドーパント等を導入する際に、導入する量を精密に制御できる
等のメリットがある。
図1に示される有機発光素子を作製した。本実施例で使用する、各層を構成する材料は以下に示す通りである。
陽極2:酸化錫インジウム(ITO)
正孔注入層3:PEDOT:PSS(バイトロン社製、PAl−4083)
発光層4:例示化合物No.1
電子注入層5:CsCO3
陰極6:アルミニウム(Al)
実施例1において、発光層4を成膜する際に、例示化合物No.1の代わりに例示化合物No.5を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を作製した。得られた有機発光素子について、実施例1と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、発光層4を成膜する際に、例示化合物No.1の代わりに例示化合物No.6を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を作製した。得られた有機発光素子について、実施例1と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、発光層4を成膜する際に、例示化合物No.1の代わりに例示化合物No.10を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を作製した。得られた有機発光素子について、実施例1と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、発光層4を成膜する際に、例示化合物No.1の代わりに、ホストである例示化合物No.5とゲストである下記式に示されるIr(C8−piq)3の混合物に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を作製した。
実施例5において、ホストとして例示化合物No.5の代わりに例示化合物No.6を用いた以外は、実施例5と同様の方法で有機発光素子の作製を行った。得られた素子について実施例5と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表3に示す。
実施例5において、クロロホルムの代わりに、1,2−ジクロロプロパンを用いて、例示化合物No.5の溶液とIr(C8−piq)3の溶液をそれぞれ調製した以外は、実施例5と同様の方法で有機発光素子の作製を行った。得られた素子について実施例5と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表3に示す。
実施例7において、ホストとして例示化合物No.5の代わりに例示化合物No.6を用いた以外は、実施例7と同様の方法で有機発光素子の作製を行った。得られた素子について実施例5と同様の評価を行った。評価結果を表3に示す。
実施例5において、ホストとして例示化合物No.5の代わりに、下記式で示されるオリゴフルオレン化合物(A)を用いた他は、実施例5と同様の方法で有機発光素子の作製を行った。

Claims (4)
- 前記有機化合物層が発光層であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記発光層がホストとゲストとからなり、該ホストが前記オリゴフルオレン化合物であり、該ゲストが三重項発光材料であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の有機発光素子。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光素子を有することを特徴とする、表示装置。
