図2は本発明の実施の形態1の一例を示すブロック図である。図2において、100は第一段アンプ101、第二段アンプ102、第三段アンプ103、第一段間整合104、第二段間整合105にて構成されるパワーアンプ、400は、第一段検波器401、第二段検波器402、第三段検波器403、電流電圧変換器404にて構成される出力電力検波器、から構成される高周波電力増幅器である。

Claims (6)
- RF信号が入力され、前記RF信号を増幅する電力増幅器と、
前記増幅器の出力電力を検波する検波器を具備し、
前記検波器は、前記増幅器の各増幅段の入力を検波器の入力とし、
前記増幅段に入力される信号のピーク電圧を検出するピークホールド検波部と、
前記ピークホールド検波部の出力と比較するための基準信号を出力する基準信号部と、
前記ピークホールド検波部の出力と前記基準信号を比較する比較器と、
前記増幅段のそれぞれの入力に対して検波した出力を足し合わせた電流を電圧に変換して出力する電流電圧変換器を有することを特徴とする電力増幅器。 - 前記増幅器は、複数の増幅段と各増幅段の間に挿入された段間整合回路とを有する請求項1に記載の電力増幅器。
- 前記ピークホールド検波部の出力と前記比較器の入力の間および前記基準信号部の出力と前記比較器の間に低域通過フィルタを具備する請求項1又は2に記載の電力増幅器。
- 前記検波器および前記増幅器はCMOSで構成することで、低電源電圧にて駆動可能となることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3記載の電力増幅器。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の電力増幅器を用いた無線機器。
- 前記ピークホールド検波部は、前記増幅段から入力される信号の直流成分を除去する直流成分遮断容量を備え、
前記ピークホールド検波部から前記比較器に入力される信号と、前記基準信号部から前記比較器に入力される前記基準信号の直流成分が等しくされるよう制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4記載の電力増幅器。
