Description
しかしながら、一般的にポリブタジエンは熱や酸素・光等に不安定で、ポリブタジエン自体もしくはそれを用いた耐衝撃性ポリスチレン系樹脂はゲル化・変色等により品質低下が起こり易く、安定化のために酸化防止剤が使用されていることも古くから知られている。また最近では、環境問題などからBHT(ブチルハイドロキシトルエン)やTNPP(トリスノニルフェニルフォスファイト)等の従来タイプとは異なる酸化防止剤の要望がより強くなって来た。

特に好ましくは、 2≦St−cp/ML1+4≦ 6 を満足する。
数平均分子量(Mn):0.2×105〜10×105、より好ましくは0.5×105〜5×105
重量平均分子量(Mw):0.5×105〜20×105、より好ましくは1×105〜10×105
(A)遷移金属化合物のメタロセン型錯体、及び(B)非配位性アニオンとカチオンとのイオン性化合物及び/又はアルミノキサンから得られる触媒を用いて、ブタジエンを重合させて製造できる。
(B)非配位性アニオンとカチオンとのイオン性化合物、
(C)周期律表第1〜3族元素の有機金属化合物、及び、
(D)水
から得られる触媒を用いたブタジエンを重合させて製造できる。
(1) RM・La、すなわち、シクロアルカジエニル基の配位子を有する酸化数+1の周期律表第5族遷移金属化合物
(2) Rn MX2-n ・La、すなわち、少なくとも1個のシクロアルカジエニル基の配位子を有する酸化数+2の周期律表第5族遷移金属化合物
(3) Rn MX3-n ・La
(4) RMX3 ・La
(5) RM(O)X2 ・La
(6) Rn MX3-n (NR' )
などの一般式で表される化合物が挙げられる(式中、nは1又は2、aは0,1又は2である)。
シクロペンタジエニルバナジウムトリクロライドが挙げられる。
触媒成分の添加順序は、特に、制限はない。
バッチ式でも連続的製造方法でもよく特に限定されない。
黄色の着色が低い(ポリマーの変色や劣化が少ない)と判断される。
内容量1.7Lのオートクレーブの内部を窒素置換し、シクロヘキサン260ml、ブタジエン140mlを仕込んで攪拌する。次いで、水5μlを添加して30分間攪拌を続けた。20℃、1気圧換算で110mlの水素を積算マスフロメーターで計量して注入し、次いで、トリエチルアルミニウム(TEA)1mol/Lのトルエン溶液0.36mlを添加して3分間攪拌後、シクロペンタジエニルバナジウムトリクロライド(CpVCl3 )5mmol/Lのトルエン溶液0.5ml、トリフェニルカルベニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレート(Ph3 CB(C6 F5)4 )2.5mmol/Lのトルエン溶液1.5mlの順に加え、重合温度40℃で30分間重合を行った。さらに、水を300mg/L含むトルエン4.8ml、ジエチルアルミニウムクロライド(DEAC)1mol/Lのトルエン溶液0.1ml、オクチル酸コバルト(Co(Oct)2)5mmol/Lのトルエン溶液0.5mlを加えて40℃で30分間反応させた。
反応後、生成ポリマーに対し0.1重量%含有させるように(a)2,4−ビス[(オクチルチオ)メチル]−オルト−クレゾールを溶解させたエタノール溶液を注入して反応を停止させた後、溶媒を蒸発させ乾燥した。乾燥後、生成ポリマーの酸化誘導期を測定して耐熱・劣化安定性を評価した。表1に重合及び酸化誘導期の結果を示した。
攪拌機付1.5リットルのオートクレーブを窒素ガスで置換し、スチレン465gと表1に示す実施例1〜3で製造したHC−HVBRの各35g(ゴム7重量部)を加えて溶解した。次いでn−ドデシルメルカプタン0.15gを加えて、135℃で表4に示した条件で攪拌しながらスチレンの転化率が30%になるまで1時間半予備重合した。次に、この予備重合液に0.5wt%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液500ミリリットルを注入し、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド1.0g(0.2重量部)及びジクミルパーオキサイド1.0g(0.2重量部)を加えて100℃で2時間、125℃で3時間、140℃で2時間攪拌下に連続的に重合した。室温に冷却して重合反応混合物からビーズ状のポリマーをろ過し、水洗・乾燥した。これを押出機でペレット化して耐衝撃性スチレン系樹脂450gを得た。得られたゴム変性耐衝撃性スチレン系樹脂組成物をそれぞれ射出成形して物性測定用試験片を作成して物性を測定した。結果を表2に示した。
表1に示す比較例1〜3で製造したHC−HVBRを使用した以外は実施例4と同様の方法でゴム変性耐衝撃性スチレン系樹脂組成物を作製、それぞれ射出成形して物性測定用試験片を作成して物性を測定した。結果を表2に示した。
Claims (3)
- (A)遷移金属化合物のメタロセン型錯体、および(B)非配位性アニオンとカチオンとのイオン性化合物及び/又はアルモキサンからなる触媒を用いた重合により製造され、シス−1,4構造が65〜95%、かつ、ビニル構造が30〜4%であり、2,4−ビス[(オクチルチオ)メチル]−オルト−クレゾール、2,2−チオ−ジエチレンビス[3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]および2,4−ビス−(n−オクチルチオ)−6−(4−ヒドロキシ−3,5−ジ−t−ブチルアニリノ)−1,3,5−トリアジンから選ばれる少なくとも1つの硫黄含有フェノール系酸化防止剤を0.01重量%〜0.5重量%含有する高シス−高ビニルポリブタジエン組成物をゴム状重合体成分として1重量%〜30重量%含有することを特徴とするゴム変性スチレン系樹脂組成物。
- 該硫黄含有フェノール系酸化防止剤がゴム変性スチレン系樹脂組成物に0.001重量%〜0.15重量%含まれることを特徴とする請求項1記載のゴム変性スチレン系樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1に記載のゴム変性スチレン系樹脂組成物において、高シス−高ビニルポリブタジエン組成物の製造は、重合停止時もしくは停止後に該硫黄含有フェノール系酸化防止剤を添加することを特徴とするゴム変性スチレン系樹脂組成物の製造方法。
