Description
耐食性のラス構造体を含む外面仕上げ系を提供する。外面仕上げ系は、一般的に負荷が掛けられていない壁、随意の断熱ボード、随意の耐候性バリヤ、及びこれらに伴う模様付きの保護仕上げコートを含む。この外面仕上げ系は、外面断熱かつ仕上げ系(EIFS)又はスタッコ系を含むことができる。一般に、EIFSは、負荷が掛けられていない壁、該壁に結合した随意の耐候性バリヤ、該壁に接着剤により又は機械的に結合した断熱ボード、この断熱ボード面に適用されたベースコート、このベースコート内に実質的に埋設された強化メッシュ及び仕上げコートを含む。スタッコ系は、典型的に負荷が掛けられていない壁、該壁に結合した随意の耐候性バリヤ、該壁に結合した随意の断熱ボード、該壁又は該断熱ボードの面に結合したラス、及び少なくとも1層のスタッコを含む。このスタッコ層も、仕上げコートを含むことができる。
セメント含有材料:無機水硬性材料、例えば1種又はそれ以上のポルトランドセメント、モルタル、プラスタ、石膏、及び/又はその他の成分、例えば発泡剤、骨材、樹脂状添加剤、ガラス繊維、撥水剤及び耐水性添加剤、及び難燃剤を含むもの。
幾つかのガラス組成物が、開発されているが、連続的ガラス繊維の工業的生産のためには、ほんの幾つかのみが利用されているに過ぎない。利用されている4種の主なガラスは、高いポルトランドセメント含有率を持つスタッコ、殆どのポリマー-変性用の、電気的グレードのガラス(E-ガラス)、化学的に耐性の変性E-ガラス(ECR-ガラス)、及び高強度ガラス(S-ガラス)である。これら4種のガラスの代表的なガラス組成を、以下の表1に与える:
前床における溶融ガラスの連続ガラス繊維への転化は、基本的に繊細化工程である。この溶融ガラスを、多数の穴又は末口(典型的な生産工程では400〜8000)を備えた、プラチナ-ロジウム合金ブッシュを通して流す。このブッシュを電気的に加熱し、またこの加熱を、一定のガラス粘度を保つために、極めて正確に調節する。これら繊維を引抜き、これらが該ブッシュを出たら即座に冷却する。サイズ剤の浴を介して連続的に回転している、アプリケータ上に、これら繊維を通すことによって、サイズ剤をこれら繊維の表面に適用し、通過する該ガラスフィラメントに対して、サイズ剤の薄い膜を維持する。サイズ剤を適用した後、該フィラメントを、取出し装置に到達する前に集めて、ストランドとする。フィラメントの小さな束(スプリットストランド)が必要とされる場合には、多数の捕集デバイス(しばしばシューと呼ばれる)を使用する。
一旦これらの連続的ガラス繊維を製造した後、該繊維を、意図した用途にとって適した形状に変換する必要がある。主な最終的形状は、連続ロービング、織りロービング、ガラス繊維マット、チョップトストランド、及び生地用途用の糸である。糸は、本発明の多くの用途において利用される。
しばしば組織とも言われる、ファブリックのパターンは、x-y座標系で表される。そのy-軸は経糸を表し、またファブリックロール(典型的には、30〜150m、又は100〜500ft)の長手方向の軸である。x-軸は、横方向、即ち該ロールの幅(典型的には、910〜3050mm、あるいは36〜120 in)である。基本的なファブリックは、その数において少ないが、様々な経糸/緯糸打込数をもつ、異なる型及びサイズの糸の組合わせは、数百に及ぶバリエーションを可能とする。

Claims (16)
- 非-金属繊維を含み、該繊維の一部分を、ファブリックの面内で観測した場合に、起伏の形態で塗膜により固定された耐食性の織布ファブリック、及び
該ファブリックに適用された、外面仕上げ材料のマトリックス、
を含むことを特徴とする、建造物壁構造用の外面仕上げ系。 - 該耐食性ファブリックが、経糸及び緯糸からなる織布からなり、前記緯糸の少なくとも一部が、ファブリックの面内で観測した場合に、起伏の形態で塗膜により固定されている請求項1に記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 前記織布が、カラミ織からなる、請求項2に記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 該耐食性ファブリックが、少なくとも約3.175mm(約0.125インチ)の厚みを有し、該ファブリックが、これに適用された外面仕上げ材料の脱落又は垂落ちを生じることなしに、該材料のマトリックス重量を保持し、かつ維持することができる、請求項2記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 更に、以下に列挙する特徴の少なくとも一つにより特徴付けられる、請求項2記載の外面仕上げ系:
(i) 該経糸が、該緯糸に起伏を持たせるように、引張力の適用を受け;
(ii) 該経糸が、該緯糸の総合重量よりも大きな、総合重量を持ち;及び
(iii) 該経糸の一部が、該緯糸の一部よりも重く、しかも該経糸の本数が、該緯糸の本数よりも少ない。 - 該非-金属繊維が、ポリマー繊維、ガラス繊維、又はこれら両者からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 該ガラス繊維が、E-ガラス繊維、A-ガラス繊維、ECR-ガラス繊維、S-ガラス繊維、及びAR-ガラス繊維からなる群から選択される、請求項6記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 該塗膜が、耐アルカリ性の塗膜である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 該耐食性ファブリックが、耐食性のスタッコ用ラスであり、かつ該外面仕上げ材料が、該ラスに適用されたスタッコのマトリックスを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の外面仕上げ系。
- 該耐食性ファブリックが、EIFS用の耐食性強化メッシュであり、かつ該外面仕上げ材料が、EIFSベースコート及び仕上げコートを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の外面仕上げ系。
- フレームと;

を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の建造物用壁。 - 請求項11記載の建造物用壁を製造する方法であって、以下の工程、
(a) フレーム付きの建造物用壁を構築する工程;
(b) 場合により、基板を、フレーム付きの建造物用壁に貼り付ける工程;
(c) 場合により、該基板上に二次的な耐候性バリヤを配置する工程;
(d) 場合により、断熱層を、該フレーム上に、又は該基板が存在する場合、該基板上に、又は、該二次的耐候性バリヤが存在する場合には、該二次的耐候性バリヤ上に配置する工程;
(e) 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載した非-金属繊維製の該耐食性織布ファブリックを、(i) 該基板上、(ii) 該二次的耐候性バリヤが存在し、該断熱層が存在しない場合、該二次的耐候性バリヤ上、あるいは(iii) 該断熱層が存在する場合における、該断熱層上のいずれかに貼り付ける工程;及び
(f) 外面仕上げ材料のマトリックスを、該非-金属繊維製の耐食性織布ファブリックに適用する工程;
を含むことを特徴とする、建造物用壁の製造方法。 - 該耐食性ファブリックが、耐食性のスタッコ用ラスであり、かつ該外面仕上げ材料のマトリックスを、該非-金属繊維製の耐食性織布ファブリックに適用する該工程が、該ファブリックに、少なくとも一層のスタッコ層を適用する工程を含む、請求項13記載の方法。
- 該耐食性ファブリックが、EIFS用強化メッシュを含み、かつ
前記方法が、EIFSベースコートの第一層を、(i) 該基板上、(ii) 該二次的耐候性バリヤが存在し、該断熱層が存在しない場合、該二次的耐候性バリヤ上、あるいは(iii) 該断熱層が存在する場合における、該断熱層上に適用する工程;
前記強化メッシュの少なくとも一層を該ベースコートに埋設する工程;次いで
該ベースコート及び該強化メッシュ上に、少なくとも一層のEIFS仕上げコートを適用する工程を含む、請求項13記載の方法。 - 請求項13記載の建造物用壁を製造する方法であって、以下の工程、
(a) フレーム付きの建造物用壁を構築する工程;
(b) 基板を、フレーム付きの建造物用壁に貼り付ける工程;
(c) 場合により、該基板上に二次的な耐候性バリヤを配置する工程;
(d) 場合により、断熱層を、該フレーム上に、又は該基板上に、又は、該二次的耐候性バリヤが存在する場合には、該二次的耐候性バリヤ上に配置する工程;
(e) 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載した非-金属繊維製の該耐食性ファブリックを、(i) 該基板上、(ii) 該二次的耐候性バリヤが存在し、該断熱層が存在しない場合、該二次的耐候性バリヤ上、あるいは(iii) 該断熱層が存在する場合における、該断熱層上のいずれかに貼り付ける工程;及び
(f) 外面仕上げ材料のマトリックスを、該非-金属繊維製の耐食性ファブリックに適用する工程;
を含むことを特徴とする、建造物用壁の製造方法。
