Description
なお、従来の送風ファンは、前記ブレードの外径に対するブレードの内径の比率である送風ファンの内外径比を大きくし、これによって送風ファンのサイズが大きくなる問題点があり、さらには、前記送風ファンが組み付けられる空調機の室内機も大きくなるという短所がある。
また、本発明によれば、送風ファンの運転時に発生する騒音を低減させることができる効果が得られる。
図3は、本発明に係る送風ファンの内外径比に対する騒音特性を示すグラフであり、図4は、本発明に係る送風ファンの入口角に対する騒音特性を示すグラフであり、図5は、流量係数と静圧係数との関係における本発明の送風ファンと従来の送風ファンとの比較状態を示すグラフであり、図6は、流量係数と静圧効率との関係における本発明の送風ファンと従来の送風ファンとの比較状態を示すグラフである。
図7を参照すると、壁掛型エアコン100は、四角状のケース180と、室内空気が吸い込まれるように前記ケースの前面中央に形成された吸込口160と、前記ケース180内に設けられ、回転により室内空気をケース内に吸い込むようにする送風ファン120と、送風ファン120を回転させるモータ150と、前記送風ファン120に吸い込まれる空気の流れをガイドするベルマウス130と、前記室内空気の吸込口160と送風ファン120との間に形成され、前記送風ファン120の吸込作用によりケース180内に吸い込まれた室内空気と冷媒との熱交換によって冷気を形成させる蒸発器140と、前記蒸発器140の蒸発作用で形成された冷気を送風ファン120の送風作用で再び室内に吐き出すためケース180の上・下部に形成された吐出口170とを有する。
本発明に係るエアコン室内機の送風ファンの構造は、送風ファンの内外径比、ブレードの入・出口角、ブレードの個数などのような送風ファンの設計因子を最適化することにより、従来の送風ファンに比べて効率を高くすることができる。また、本発明によって、ブレードの長さが長くなりながらも騒音が発生しない最適のブレードが提案され、サイズ、効率、低騒音などの面で有効な効果が得られる。

Claims (9)
- シュラウドと、
ベース部と前記シュラウドに向かって突出する隆起部とを含み、吐出される空気の流れがガイドされるハブと、
前記シュラウドとハブとの間の間隙に多数形成され、前記ベース部から前記隆起部まで展開し、最内側の地点である内径(D1)と最外側の地点である外径(D2)との比(D1/D2)が0.5以下であるブレードと、
を備えることを特徴とする送風ファンの構造。 - 前記ブレードは、前記シュラウドに近接した側の外径より前記ハブに近接した側の外径が小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記ブレードの入口角は、22〜28°の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記ブレードの出口角は、45〜55°の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記ブレードの個数は、8〜15個の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記シュラウドの内径は、前記ハブの外径に比べて大きく、前記ブレードは、前記ハブのほぼ中央の隆起部にまで延在することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記シュラウドの前方には、吸込される空気の流れをガイドするベルマウスが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記シュラウドは、前記ハブに比べて直径が大きいことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
- 前記ブレードの総数は、13個であることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の送風ファンの構造。
