触媒の全重量に対して0.1重量%の金属ロジウム元素を含む触媒を、4時間500℃でのか焼後に得られた実施例3の混合物への硝酸ロジウムの湿式含浸によって調製した。次いで、含浸された混合物を、徐々に蒸発し、乾燥し、最後に4時間500℃で空気中でのか焼に曝した。
ガス流量:30 L/時間
触媒重量:150mgのSiCで希釈した20mg(粒径画分100−200ミクロン)。
濃い混合気では、NOについての20%転化に対する開始温度は345℃であり、C3H6に対しては350℃であった。したがって、これらは両方の場合において低温であった。
この例においては、組成物は、酸化ランタンおよび酸化ネオジムによって安定化された比表面積を有する、酸化ジルコニウムおよび酸化セリウムを主体として調製される。この組成物は、これら酸化物の各重量の割合が75/20/2.5/2.5である、式ZrO2/CeO2/La2O3/Nd2O3に一致する。
− 268mLの硝酸ジルコニウム(C=280g/L)
− 79mLの硝酸セリウム(236.5g/LのCe4+、15.5g/LのCe3+および自由酸度(遊離酸度)の0.7Nの濃度)
− 5.5mLの硝酸ランタン(C=454g/L)
− 4.8mLの硝酸ネオジム(C=524g/L)。
この実施例は、80%ジルコニウムおよび20%プラセオジムを含む組成物に関するものであり、これらの割合は、酸化物ZrO2およびPr6O11の重量パーセントとして表される。
この実施例は、90%ジルコニウムおよび10%プラセオジムを含む組成物に関するものであり、これらの割合は、酸化物ZrO2およびPr6O11の重量パーセントで表される。
Claims (21)
- 酸化ジルコニウムと、プラセオジム、ランタンおよびネオジムの酸化物から選択された少なくとも1種の添加剤とよりなる組成物であって、前記添加剤は前記組成物の50重量%以下の割合で含有され、1000℃で10時間か焼した後に少なくとも29m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする組成物。
- 1000℃で10時間か焼した後に、少なくとも35m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1000℃で10時間か焼した後に、少なくとも40m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1000℃で10時間か焼した後に、少なくとも50m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1100℃で4時間か焼した後に、少なくとも10m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1100℃で4時間か焼した後に、少なくとも15m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1200℃で10時間か焼した後に、少なくとも2m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1200℃で10時間か焼した後に、少なくとも3m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 900℃で4時間か焼した後に、少なくとも45m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 900℃で4時間か焼した後に、少なくとも50m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 900℃で4時間か焼した後に、少なくとも55m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記添加剤の含有量は10%〜40重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記添加剤の含有量は10%〜30重量%であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、10nm〜500nmの寸法のメソ孔を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 酸化アルミニウムまたはシリカを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- (a)ジルコニウムの化合物、プラセオジム、ランタンおよびネオジムの酸化物から選択された少なくとも1種の添加剤の化合物を含む混合物を形成し;
(b)前記混合物を、塩基性化合物と接触させて、それにより沈殿物を形成し;
(c)前記沈殿物を、液状媒体中で100℃以上に加熱し;
(d)陰イオン界面活性剤、非イオン界面活性剤、ポリエチレングリコール、カルボン酸およびそれらの塩、ならびにカルボキシメチル化脂肪族アルコールエトキシレートの種類の界面活性剤から選択される化合物を、前工程で得られた沈殿物に加え;
(e)それによって得られた沈殿物をか焼する、
工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の組成物の調製方法。 - 前記工程(a)ではさらにアルミニウムまたは珪素の化合物が混合される請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ジルコニウムの化合物、添加剤の化合物、およびアルミニウムの化合物は、硝酸塩、酢酸塩および塩化物から選択された形態で用いられることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の沈殿物の加熱が少なくとも130℃の温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項17または18のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 金属又はセラミックモノリスよりなる基材と前記基材上に付着したウォッシュコートとよりなり、前記ウォッシュコートは、アルミナ、二酸化チタン、酸化セリウム、シリカ、スピネル、ゼオライト、珪酸、結晶珪酸燐酸アルミニウム、結晶燐酸アルミニウムから選択されている坦体に、請求項1に記載の組成物と鉄、マンガン、銅、白金、ロジウム、パラジウム、銀及びイリジウムより選択される金属を担持したものである、内燃機関の排ガスを浄化するための触媒。
- 硫酸イオンが含有されていて、その含有率は50ppm以下(SO4 -/全組成物の重量比)以下である請求項1の組成物。
