Claims (8)
- 成形型の成形キャビティ内に重合性材料を注入して重合せしめることによりレンズブランクを成形し、該レンズブランクを切削加工することによって目的とするコンタクトレンズを得るコンタクトレンズの製造方法において、
前記重合性材料を前記成形キャビティ内に自由表面を有する状態で注入した後に、鉛直方向に延びる回転中心軸に対して前記成形型の底面を外側に向けた状態で該成形型を該回転中心軸回りに回転せしめつつ重合成形することによって前記レンズブランクを成形することを特徴とするコンタクトレンズの製造方法。 - 複数の前記成形型を用いて、それぞれの前記成形キャビティ内に前記重合性材料を注入して、それら複数の成形型を同一の前記回転中心軸回りで同時に回転せしめつつ重合成形する請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記成形型として樹脂、ガラス、金属の何れかで形成されたものを用いる請求項1又は2に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記成形型として一方に開口する開口部を有する成形型を用いて、前記重合性材料を該開口部から注入し、覆蓋部材によって前記成形キャビティ内に空隙を有する状態で該開口部を密封状態に覆蓋した後に該重合性材料を重合成形する請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記成形型として熱可塑性樹脂で形成されたものを用いると共に、該成形型の前記開口部に前記覆蓋部材としてのアルミニウム箔を熱溶着することによって該開口部を密封状態に覆蓋する請求項4に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記重合性材料を脱酸素雰囲気中で重合成形する請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記成形型に対して前記重合性材料に及ぼされる重力よりも遠心力が大きくなる回転速度を与えると共に、該成形型を該重合性材料に及ぼされる重力と遠心力との合力方向に傾斜せしめた状態で回転せしめる請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
