Description
本発明は、一般に、組織を通る通路をシールまたは閉鎖するための装置および方法に、そしてより特定すれば、血管のようなヒト管腔と連通する穿孔またはその他の開口部をシールするためのデバイス、およびこのようなデバイスを送達するための装置および方法に関する。
血管形成術またはステント留めのようなカテーテル法および介入手順は、一般に、患者の皮膚および筋肉組織を通り、血管系中に中空のニードルを挿入することにより実施される。次いで、ガイドワイヤが、ニードル管腔を通り、このニードルによって接近される患者の血管中に通過され得る。このニードルは除去され得、そして導入具シースが、ガイドワイヤ上を、例えば、拡張器と組合せ、またはその次に、血管中に進行され得る。カテーテルまたはその他のデバイスが、次いで、上記導入具シースの管腔を通り、そしてガイドワイヤ上を、医療手順を実施するための位置に進行され得る。従って、この導入具シースは、血管中への種々のデバイスの導入を容易にし得、その一方、血管壁への外傷を最小にし、そして/または手順の間の血液損失を最小にする。

Claims (14)
- 身体管腔の壁にある穿孔をシールするためのデバイスであって:
細長い部材であって、その中に管腔およびその遠位領域に遠位ポートおよびその近位領域に近位ポートを有し、該ポートの各々が該細長い部材中の該管腔と連通する細長い部材、
該細長い部材中に収容される閉塞具であって、該閉塞具の遠位部分が、その遠位部分から近位方向から延びるシャフトに連結される比較的大きな外部寸法を有し、該閉塞具の遠位端から該シャフトを通って近位方向に延びる中央管腔が提供され、該比較的大きな外部寸法の部分が前記細長い部材の遠位ポートに対して遠位方向に位置される閉塞具、
該閉塞具の遠位部分の外表面中の溝、および
該細長い部材中の該管腔を通り、そして該溝を通って延びるガイドワイヤであって、近位方向移動には抵抗し得るが、該溝を通って近位方向に引き抜かれるに十分可撓性である遠位領域を有するガイドワイヤ、を備える、デバイス。 - 前記閉塞具の遠位端の遠位方向に位置決めされる前記細長い部材の遠位領域中にシール要素が提供される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記細長い部材中の前記管腔を通って延びるガイドワイヤチューブをさらに備え、前記ガイドワイヤが該ガイドワイヤチューブ内に保持される、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記シール要素を前記身体管腔の壁にある前記穿孔の近傍の位置で位置決めする手段をさらに備える、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記位置決めする手段が前記ガイドワイヤチューブに取り付けられたアクチュエーターディスクのような第1の部材、および前記ガイドワイヤに取り付けられたガイドワイヤディスクのような第2の部材を備え、該第1の部材および第2の部材が、前記シール要素を位置決めするために用いられる空間的関係を有する、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- 前記閉塞具の前記中央管腔を通って延び、そして前記シール要素に取り付けられるテザーをさらに備える、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記細長い部材に連結されるアクチュエーターをさらに備え、該アクチュエーターが、前記閉塞具に対する該細長い部材の移動を容易にするように適合された、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 身体管腔の壁にある穿孔をシールするデバイスであって: 遠位ポート、近位ポート、および該遠位ポートおよび近位ポートを連結する通路を有する細長い部材、
該閉塞具の少なくとも一部分を通って延びる閉塞具であって、該細長い部材が近位方向に引かれるとき、シール要素の近位方向の移動を選択的に防いで該シール部材を放出し、該身体管腔の壁にある穿孔をシールするよう適合された遠位部分を有する閉塞具、および
該細長い部材を通って延びるガイドワイヤであって、遠位領域で横方向に配置された部分を有し、且つ近位方向の動きに抵抗できる遠位領域を有し、前記シール要素を近位方向に引き抜かれるに十分に可撓性であるガイドワイヤ、を備える、デバイス。 - 前記シール要素が、前記閉塞具の遠位部分の遠位方向に位置する、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記細長い部材中の管腔を通って延びるガイドワイヤチューブをさらに備え、前記ガイドワイヤが該ガイドワイヤチューブ内に保持される、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記シール要素を、前記身体管腔の壁にある穿孔近傍の位置に位置決めするための手段をさらに備える、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 前記位置決めするための手段が、前記ガイドワイヤチューブに取り付けられた第1の部材および前記ガイドワイヤに取り付けられた第2の部材を備え、該第1の部材および第2の部材が、前記シール要素を位置決めするために用いられる空間的関係を有する、請求項11に記載のデバイス。
- 前記閉塞具の遠位端から延びる中央管腔、および該閉塞具の該中央管腔を通って延び、そして前記シール要素に取り付けられるテザーをさらに備える、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記細長い部材に連結されたアクチュエーターをさらに備え、該アクチュエーターが、該閉塞具に対する該細長い部材の移動を容易にするように適合されている、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
