Claims (7)
- 直線変位センサ(20;74)において、
中心点を定めるように交わる2本の対角線と、前記中心点を通過し、前記対角線によって定められる角度を二分する対称軸(24)とを形成する矩形の4つの角部を形成するように対称的に位置させられ、各磁石(28、30、32、34)が対称軸(24)に面する部分を有する、間隔を置いて配置された4つの磁石(28、30、32、34)であって、
各磁石(28、30、32、34)が、対称軸(24)に面する極を有し、同じ対角線上に位置する磁石が、前記対称軸(24)に面する同一の極を有し、前記対称軸(24)に対して対称的に位置する磁石が互いに逆の極を有する、磁石(28、30、32、34)と、
前記4つの磁石(28、30、32、34)に対してほぼ前記対称軸(24)に沿って相対移動できるように配置された磁場強度センサとを有する直線変位センサ(20;74)。 - 第1の磁石、第2の磁石、第3の磁石、および第4の磁石(28、30、32、34)はそれぞれ、前記対称軸(24)に面する部分であって、少なくとも2つの段、すなわち、前記対称軸(24)から間隔を置いて配置された第1の段(38)と、前記対称軸(24)から前記第1の段(38)より大きい間隔を置いて配置された第2の段(42)とを有する階段の形状を形成する部分を有している、請求項1に記載の直線変位センサ(20;74)。
- 前記磁場強度センサ(22)は、プログラム可能なホール効果センサ(80)を有する、請求項1に記載の直線変位センサ(20;74)。
- 前記第1の磁石、前記第2の磁石、前記第3の磁石、および前記第4の磁石(28、30、32、34)はそれぞれ、2つの段(38、42)のみを有する、請求項2に記載の直線変位センサ(20)。
- 前記第1の磁石、前記第2の磁石、前記第3の磁石、および前記第4の磁石(28、30、32、34)はそれぞれ、3つの段(38、42、76)を有する、請求項2に記載の直線変位センサ(74)。
- 第1の磁石、第2の磁石、第3の磁石、および第4の磁石(28、30、32、34)は、前記磁場強度センサ(22)に対して移動できるように取り付けられる、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の直線変位センサ(20;74)。
- 第1の磁石、第2の磁石、第3の磁石、および第4の磁石(28、30、32、34)は、前記対称軸(24)に沿った距離に対する、前記対称軸の選択された部分にわたる磁場強度の変化率を最大にするように配置される、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の直線変位センサ(20;74)。
