Claims (9)
- エレクトロルミネセント光源であって、
基板と、
この基板に設けられ、陽極としての少なくとも1つの電極,少なくとも半透明で前記基板と反対側に設けられた陰極としての少なくとも1つの電極,これらの間に設けられた少なくとも1つの有機エレクトロルミネセント層,を有する、少なくとも前記基板と反対側で光を放射するための層構造と、
前記層構造の周辺に閉じた容積空間を形成し、前記層構造に対して実質的に化学的に不活性で且つ粒子を含む誘電性流体で満たされた少なくとも半透明な密閉装置と、を備え、
前記粒子は、光を散乱するために非吸収性の材料からなり、前記粒子の密度は、この粒子が前記誘電性流体内で浮遊状態となるように設定されており、
各粒子が、少なくとも1つの前記誘電性流体の密度よりも大きい密度を有する第1の材料と、少なくとも1つの前記誘電性流体の密度よりも小さな密度を有する第2の材料から構成されていることを特徴とするエレクトロルミネセント光源。 - 前記第2の材料はプラスチックであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記粒子の第1の材料は、前記粒子の第2の材料で囲まれていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記粒子は、10nmと2000nmの間の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記粒子は、前記誘電性流体内で5%と60%の間の容積比率を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記誘電性流体の屈折率と前記粒子の屈折率の差の大きさが、0.1よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記粒子の屈折率が、1.5よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記誘電性流体内の前記粒子の直径、屈折率及び容積比率は、前記粒子を含む誘電性流体の屈折率が1.4よりも大きくなるように選択されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
- 前記誘電性流体内の前記粒子の直径、屈折率及び容積比率は、前記粒子を含む誘電性流体の屈折率が前記EL層構造の屈折率と等しくなるように選択されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエレクトロルミネセント光源。
