Description

Claims (4)
- 少なくとも第一および第二の画像から画面上で実質的にシームレスな結合画像を生成するディスプレイであって、
対応する第一および第二の画像を画面上に別々に投射する少なくとも第一および第二のプロジェクタであって、前記プロジェクタは、前記第一の画像の一部が前記第二の画像の一部と重複し、前記画面上に少なくとも一つの継ぎ目領域を定めるように、前記第一および第二の画像を投射する、前記プロジェクタと、
前記継ぎ目が視聴者に実質的に見えなくなるように、前記第一および第二の画像部分の輝度を調整するために、前記第一および第二のプロジェクタに結合された画像プロセッサと、
を備え、
前記プロセッサは、前記第一および第二の画像部分を次の関係に従って調整し、
- 前記プロセッサは、更に、前記第一および第二の画像に対するガンマ補正を提供するために、前記第一および第二の画像を調整し、前記プロセッサは、前記継ぎ目領域の内側の前記画像の部分に対して第一のガンマ補正を適用し、前記継ぎ目領域の外側の前記画像の部分に対して、前記第一のガンマ補正とは異なる第二のガンマ補正を適用する、請求項1記載のディスプレイ。
- 少なくとも第一および第二の画像から画面上で実質的にシームレスな結合画像を生成する方法であって、
対応する第一および第二の画像を画面上に別々に投射する少なくとも第一および第二のプロジェクタを提供するステップであって、前記プロジェクタは、前記第一の画像の一部が前記第二の画像の一部と重複し、前記画面上に少なくとも一つの継ぎ目領域を定めるように、前記第一および第二の画像を投射する、前記提供するステップと
前記プロジェクタの対応する特性に従って、前記第一および第二の画像部分の少なくとも一つの特性を調整するために、前記第一および第二の画像部分を処理するステップと、
前記調整済みの第一および第二の画像部分を前記画面上へ投射するステップと、
前記第一および第二の画像部分の輝度を次の前記直線的な反比例の関係に従って調整するステップを含み、
- 前記継ぎ目領域の内側の前記画像の部分に対して第一のガンマ補正を適用し、前記表示画像の残りの部分に対して、前記第一のガンマ補正とは異なる第二のガンマ補正を適用することで、前記表示画像をガンマ補正するステップを含む、請求項3記載の方法。
