Description
例えば、ラインL1に示すように、エア背圧弁が全開で且つ配管非閉塞時に、エア圧力が目標圧力P1となるように制御する場合には、エア流量がW1となるように制御される。しかし、エア背圧弁が全開状態で配管等が閉塞して圧力損失が上昇した場合には、制御可能範囲がラインL3にシフトするので、そのまま同じエア流量W1で制御されると、圧力が目標圧力P1よりも高い圧力P2で制御されることになる。このような圧力損失の上昇を考慮しないと、エア圧力が目標圧力よりも過度に高い圧力で制御され、燃料電池のアノード極とカソード極との極間差圧が拡大して、燃料電池の耐久性を劣化、例えば電解質膜の劣化を促進させ、あるいは電解質膜を損傷させるという問題が発生する。
前記エアコンプレッサ31は、モータにより駆動されるスーパーチャージャ等であり、車両の外部から空気を取り込んで断熱圧縮して、燃料電池FCのカソード極13に向けて供給するものである。
前記エア背圧弁32は、その開度を制御可能な、例えばバタフライ式の弁であり、燃料電池FCの下流側のカソードガス排出配管3bに設けられている。なお、このエア背圧弁32は、開度を全閉(エア背圧弁全閉)にしたとしても、その流路が完全に遮断されない機構となっている。
前記流量計33は、エアコンプレッサ31からの空気(エア)の供給流量を検出するセンサであり、燃料電池FCの上流側のカソードガス供給配管3aに設けられている。
前記圧力計34は、燃料電池FCのカソード極13側における空気の供給圧力を検出するセンサであり、燃料電池FCの上流側のカソードガス供給配管3aに設けられている。

Claims (2)
- 燃料と酸化剤との反応により発電を行う燃料電池と、
前記酸化剤の供給流量を検知する流量検知手段と、
前記酸化剤の供給圧力を検知する圧力検知手段と、
前記酸化剤の供給流量を制御する流量制御手段と、
前記酸化剤の供給圧力を制御する圧力制御手段と、
前記圧力制御手段が全開の場合に現在の供給流量および現在の供給圧力を全開ライン算出用データとしてプロットし、前記圧力制御手段が全閉の場合に現在の供給流量および現在の供給圧力を全閉ライン算出用データとしてプロットし、過去にプロットされた全開ライン算出用データおよび全閉ライン算出データに基づいて全開ラインおよび全閉ラインを算出し、前記全開ラインと前記全閉ラインとの内側領域を前記圧力制御手段の制御可能範囲として算出する圧力制御範囲算出手段と、を備え、
前記制御可能範囲に基づいて前記供給流量を制御することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 前記供給流量および前記供給圧力の変位が前記制御可能範囲から大きく外れる出力過渡期における前記圧力制御手段の全開時および全閉時の前記供給流量および前記供給圧力は、前記制御可能範囲の算出に用いないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池システム。
